Bluey: Christmas Swim

It had all the things that are funny from the episode. My son loves it

My kids love Bluey and the books we have have been well-loved to the point they’re heavily taped together, borderline laminated. Veranda Santa is near the top for preferred books, but Christmas Swim falls short. My kids still like it because it’s Bluey, but it’s largely forgotten and never asked for in the time we’ve had it. This isn’t one of the episodes we watch a lot, so the book isn’t as familiar to us. It feels random and it jumps around a bit. There’s a lot of dialogue and interjections that just make it seem like it wanders a bit from the storyline. I can pick out the gist of the plot, but it’s unnecessarily one of the longer books. I think maybe this episode isn’t one that translates into a book as well as Grannies or Bob Bilby do.
