Bring Me Your Midnight
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Nature of Witches and Wild is the Witch comes a lush romantic fantasy about forbidden love, the choices we make, and the pull between duty and desire.
*Featuring an exclusive case only available on the first print run!
Tana Fairchild's fate has never been in question. Her life has been planned out since the moment she was born: she is to marry the governor's son, Landon, and secure an unprecedented alliance between the witches of her island home and the mainlanders who see her very existence as a threat.
Tana's coven has appeased those who fear their power for years by releasing most of their magic into the ocean during the full moon. But when Tana misses the midnight ritual―a fatal mistake―there is no one she can turn to for help…until she meets Wolfe.
Wolfe claims he is from a coven that practices dark magic, making him one of the only people who can help her. But he refuses to let Tana's power rush into the sea, and instead teaches her his forbidden magic. A magic that makes her feel powerful. Alive.
As the sea grows more violent, her coven loses control of the currents, a danger that could destroy the alliance as well as her island. Tana will have to choose between love and duty, between loyalty to her people and loyalty to her heart. Marrying Landon would secure peace for her coven but losing Wolfe and his wild magic could cost her everything else.

I love how the themes of identity, forbidden love, and the interconnectedness of the world are explored through both the old and new covens' connections to the natural world and the fate of The Witchery. With her exquisite prose and memorable characters, Griffin has crafted a truly immersive reading experience that will leave you longing for more. This book is a celebration of the beauty of nature and the indomitable spirit of the human heart.

I was lucky enough to win an Advance Reader Copy of this book from a Goodreads Giveaway, and I freaking LOVED this book. I own the rest of Rachel's books, but this one was the first one I actually managed to read, and now I am looking forward to reading the other 2 books. Tana knows what her life path looks like, and doesn't question it at all, until she meets Wolfe, and begins to question everything about her coven, magic, and her life path. This is a beautiful tale that explores the difference following the path laid out for you, and forging your own path. I adored Tana and Wolfe, their friend ship, and the path they take. 5 out of 5 stars, this is a young adult romance - what little is there is fade to black and non-descriptive. I also have my own physical copy coming this week.

Bring Me Your Midnight by Rachel Griffin Um, I loved it. That’s all. That’s my review. Just kidding, I could never get away with saying so few words about it. This book was, dare I say, magical 😉. I’m excited it releases in the fall because this felt exactly like curling up with a blanket next to the fire on chilly autumn day 🍂. The romance is sweet, and dramatic, and filled with fire. The chemistry is undeniable. Our male lead all things broody and scowling while our female lead is wild and independent. The world building took me a bit longer to get into but once I did I was fully immersed. It had similar vibes to another book and it took me a minute to separate the two. Content: fade to black, explicit language (a few f-words)
