Connie Queen has written a wonderfully suspenseful novel here. What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in a canyon, in the dark with a four year old and a baby in tow, with people shooting at you? And no idea who you were or what you were doing there? Then you stumble onto a ranch and a man aims a shotgun at you? Phew! Talk about suspense! Action from the get-go and continues throughout the book. This is a good suspense book. I won a copy of this book and was under no obligation to leave a review. I also had a Net Galley copy from the publisher. The opinion here is entirely my own.

Yeah this book had my heart from the first page...not only was it a wonderful page turner, but it addressed the issue of kidnapping and child trafficking in a tangible yet respectable way. Stormy is dealing with amnesia as she risks her life to help two young siblings. Even with amnesia, this girl kicks butt and it determined to get the job done no matter what the risks are. When she crosses paths with Riggs, he proves to have the same protective heart and determination while grieving what once was his. I even thought, regarding Riggs and his guilt over a tragedy, he couldn't be at fault because he was doing a job that saves lives. Even though it was heartbreaking what happened, God had more purpose for him in isolation. Truly LOVED everything about this story, one of the best I've read this year. The ending was super special also...highly recommend Queen books, her storytelling is top notch! Received a free copy from the publisher. Was not required to write a positive review, the thoughts and comments are my own.

I really enjoy LOVE Inspired Suspense Novels. I have read a few of Connie Queens books and they are always a joy to read. I recently read her latest book, Canyon Survival. I was captivated by the Storyline from the very first chapter. The main character, Annie Tillman, really makes the story interesting. She has amnesia and her and 2 kids(who are not even her children) are trying to run for their safety. Riggs Brenner at first doesn't believe Annie and her story of Amnesia, but he does want to help them to safety. Annie and Riggs both have troubled pasts, yet they seem like a good team together. Will Riggs get everyone to safety? Will there be a happy ending for the 4 of them? I was in AWE of how much Action and Suspense was packed into a short novel. The Romance that brewed between Annie and Riggs was quite interesting and added a bit of suspense to the story. The Author does mention Child Trafficking and Kidnapping in this book, but does so with senstivity. Action, Suspense, Romance and Faith all make the storyline AMAZING! I HIGHLY Recommend this book!

When Annie Tillman wakes up in a canyon without her memory, all she knows is that she's in danger and so are the two children with her. What happens next is a fast-paced race for survival where the stakes get higher and more deadly. Canyon Survival was a fast-paced read and two characters--Annie and Riggs--who put themselves in danger to protect two unknown children. It was a quick, adrenaline-filled read with characters that you can root for. Readers will be reminded that in every situation, no matter how bleak, God has a plan. I received an advanced reader's copy from the publisher through Just Read Tours; a positive review was not required.

If you’re in search of a romantic suspense that’s original, has a unique setting that becomes a character of its own, and some heart-pounding action, then you do not want to miss Canyon Survival by Connie Queen. When Annie (aka Stormy) wakes up in the canyon and can’t remember how she got there, who the little girl and baby boy with her are, or who is shooting at her, I was hooked. And this was page one of the book. Then Riggs enters the scene carrying some heavy baggage laden with guilt and everything ramps up more. Because Riggs is determined not to make the same mistake twice. He will protect Annie and the children right along with his heart. Queen gives readers a wonderful balance of suspense, emotions, and romance in this book. I loved the unique dangers posed in this book (you’ll have to read it to learn more about them). And even thought I had a pretty good inkling of who was behind everything, I had to keep reading to figure out if I was right in addition to seeing how Riggs and Annie would work their relationship out. Disclosure statement: I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
