I’ve always love pose work but this is a beautiful book to contain at all. My coffee was brand new with a few minor dents to the side of the pages but that could’ve come from handling. Other than that very happy with my order. I do suggest to the company though that they pack it a bit better to avoid any damages.

Honest question to anyone who’s owned this edition for awhile… how long does the big glossy raven logo in the circle last on the cover? Just received it and haven’t had time to really read anything or handle it significantly but that’s clearly not going to last. At $25 it seems like a decent edition and I don’t expect it to be $100 quality but you can tell it’s just a cheap applied decal that’s going to peel up around the edges. Just curious.

This is a beautiful book, I honestly can say that it is worth $25. There may of course be cheaper items containing all his works, however this book’s font and formatting truly bring out the tales and poems. It also contains Edgar Allan Poe’s only novel The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, which I have not read before, as the book I once got at a library did not include it nor did it include Eureka. So I am thoroughly excited to read those works that were omitted from the copy of his complete works that I had read before. It is also nice that there are section dividing pages, for poetry and fiction. The introduction included is also a nice touch as it is a brief biography of Edgar Allan Poe and his works. I definitely recommend this book to any fan of Poe’s work. The book’s construction also feels very sturdy and has a great quality as far as I can tell. If you can afford it, you should definitely buy it.

I originally was just looking for something that contained his complete works, but ended up also getting a beautiful book. The ominous cover art, glossy silver page edges, and red book mark ribbon contribute to Poe's chilling works. Serious care went into this and clearly by people who appreciate his works. Besides that it's a great size to comfortably read and just overall awesome. I think it's on par with my fancy hardcover lord of the rings books and looks great on a bookshelf.
