Proving his innocence

may cost him his life…

After a brutal attack, US marshal Riker Kastell regains consciousness only to find a murdered gang member in his mudroom. Even worse, Eliana Daines-his ex-sweetheart-has a DNA program that pinpoints him as the murderer. And Eliana's technology has them both targeted by criminals. Now he and his K-9 must protect Eliana…and find the killer who looks just like Riker before they become the next victims.

This story is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering if Riker, US Marshal will be found guilty or exonerated. Framed for murder, will the DNA phenotyping program prove he really perpetrated the crime or will it point to a doppelgänger? The added tension of an ex-girlfriend who apparently also is in the sights of a killer will keep you guessing. Plenty of action, danger and intrigue definitely will keep your attention as it appears no place is safe for those being hunted. This early copy was received through Love Inspired Suspense and Harlequin. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.

Really enjoyed this book! It was a terrific story with great characters…including the dog! This book catches the reader right from the start. I didn’t want to put it down. Both lead characters are well done. The action doesn’t stop in this one. It is edge of your seat suspense from beginning to end. My favorite part of the book is the faith theme which is so well done in this book. The plot is clear and incredibly involved, but the author takes time to put in a terrific and strong faith thread. With interesting characters, a very intriguing plot, and a strong faith thread this author has written a wonderful novel. Definitely recommend! I received this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This story is quite the page-turner. There’s both new crime fighting technology and old fashioned detective that work together to help solve the crimes, along with an unusual plot twist that drives much of the action in the story. I loved the pacing of the book that allows us to get to know the two main characters in the book, U.S. Marshall Riker Kastell and Eliana Daines. Both have to overcome their broken past relationship and work together to help clear Marshall Riker of being accused of a crime. There’s the added bonus of getting to see Riker’s K-9 police dog, Ammo, in action at different times during the book. There’s some beautiful themes of faith and forgiveness that weave in and out of this story, and I enjoyed seeing the characters grow in their faith of God’s leading in their lives. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This one was really good! I enjoyed the mystery of this one and the DNA program gave it a super interesting layer to the story. The backstory of Riker and Eliana fit well with the storyline and gave it just the right amount of tension. Sharee always writes stories that are fun reads and this one was no exception. Great read! I received this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my

Gotta love it when you get framed for murder and your old girlfriend has a DNA program that says you did it. River and Eliana have a bumpy ride ahead to prove Riker’s innocence, all while trying to stay alive. A great read with unexpected twists, good suspense and romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
