God Gave Us Easter (God Gave Us Series)
USA TODAY AND ECPA BESTSELLER • A delightful illustrated picture book for readers ages 3 and up, God Gave Us Easter features the adorable polar bear Little Cub, talking with her father and learning about God's design for the Easter season and what it really means.
"God loved us so much he wanted us to always be with him too. That's why God knew he'd need to give us Easter."
As Little Cub celebrates Easter with Papa, Mama, and her brother and sister, she begins to ask her papa questions about this very special day of the year. Papa lovingly explains God's plans for his children, while taking Little Cub on a memorable walk through her stunning Arctic world, and he shares how Easter came about in clear, simple terms that even the littlest cubs can understand.

I bought this because I wanted a simple way of explaining the Easter story to my little girl. And this book does it well with some lovely illustrations along the way

I got this for my son for Easter and it's pretty good. The story is abit long for little ones but the pictures are nice and it very gently outlines the Easter story. It doesn't really mention the crucifixion or why Jesus died but I think it's ok, as this is mainly an introductory book for young children it doesn't need to be too heavy. Would recommend.

Such a wonderful story. Sent as a gift for 2yo. Read to other age kids upto 10 yo, & thoroughly enjoyed. The sentiment is Jesus died because he loves us. It's good to give little ones some meaning to Easter that they can identify with. If you are looking for the Easter story, this isn't the book for you. But I do recommend it.

What a beautifully written book about the Easter story! We bought for our baby's first Easter but can see this being read year after year. Would be a great buy for all ages 0-10+... Would definitely recommend!

I'm a Christian grandmother. Bought it for my granddaugher who is 7. I felt it was a little too "harsh" and "violent." The message is right, but too, too much "rawness" in the begging of the book. Sending back if Amazon will take it.

"I love Easter," Little Cub said.
"Me too," Papa Bear said. "It's even better than Christmas."
"Better than Christmas? Why?"
"Because on Christmas, we celebrate Jesus' birthday. But on Easter, we remember we get to be with him forever."
"Forever?"
"Forever. That's why God gave us Easter."
