This is a really great book that details a LOT of content even some you might have missed from other books! All the chapters are neatly put together and give great short explanations of everything from vehicles to characters that show up for 2 minutes. HOWEVER The book came in pretty scuffed up. I’m not super picky about this kinda stuff but for future buyers, get ready to send it back just in case.

Purchased this for my bf & he loved it! It's such a thick book, so I was hoping there would be a good amount of pictures in it (and there sure was - photos are in color). The book is also heavy as well; think college textbook size. Hardcover & does not look cheap. The only thing is that encyclopedias are usually in alphabetical order, and this wasn't organized that way; it's not an issue but worth mentioning. My bf said that the people who put the show together should have read this book first lol. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Amazing book that’s nearly 500 pages long that offers detail on everything within the Halo Universe. It has every character, weapon, armor, planet, etc… from the Forerunners to the Flood and species I didn’t even know exist are in this book. It goes over every last detail. If you want to know something within Halo Universe, it’s in this book. (Even the Halo Forklifts are in here)

From the timeline giving a brief overview of the history of the Halo Universe, to each sections giving great details about Humanity, The Covenant, The Forerunners, Flood, and even The Banished. A good update to the previous Encyclopedia. My only complaint, is that the timeline is very sparse, going on a year by year basis instead of detailing important events from the game and books.

This Halo encyclopedia is a must have for lore fanatics. Lots of great art, information, and glimpses into the future of the Halo universe. Love it.
