To my beautiful mixed children Jacquelle Micherlange and Michaël Asher society will try to classify you as this or that, know that you are enough and don't let anyone tell you who you are. Love your snicker mommy 💕

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK! What the world needs now is to arm its youth with a positive self image while teaching them how to embrace people who are different. I will be buying this as a shower gift for all my pregnant friends. My only wish is that I had someone to remind me I WAS ENOUGH when I was a child. Positive affirmations go a long way!!!!

My nine year old daughter likes this book. She told me she thought the messages inside were important for lots of kids to hear. My 4 and 7 year old boys liked reading it at bedtime. The illustrations are really fun and nice (my 9 yo is reviewing this with me, haha). We lent it out and we miss it already!

My niece adores this book. She is six years old and she loved that the pictures in the book looked like her and her friends! The words were poetic, fun, freeing and easily relatable. The book also acted as a gateway for us to transition into conversations about what was uniquely beautiful about her and every other girl. By the end of the book and our conversation she smiled and said, “everyone is special”! This book is worth the money I paid and more.
