This book is the inner dialogue of a teenage girl. I was honestly annoyed and could not understand why so many people recommended this. Why am I, a grown woman, reading this?? It was maybe 3 stars. MAYBE. And then the last 9 chapters ripped me apart, put me back together, only to leave me a sobbing mess again. Read with caution. Do it for the last 9 chapters.

Dang it Laura... Once again two beautiful and amazingly real fictional characters have wrapped themselves around my heart. I dried my tears before writing this but more still want to fall. Autumn and Finny will forever hold a special place among my reading memories. Even as an adult I could appreciate the feelings of what it's like to be young again, the friendships, the relationships, family troubles, just everything was touched on perfectly from Autumn's point of view. I think it's a perfect read for multiple generations. Just be prepared to get attached when you least expect it. Thank you for sharing this beautiful heart wrenching story with us readers.
