It's Better Being a Bunny (Beginner Books(R))

Perfect for Easter or celebrating bunnies all year round. A charming follow-up to the classic Beginner Book It's Not Easy Being a Bunny!

P.J. Funnybunny is back and more lovable than ever in this sweet, funny sequel.

P.J. Funnybunny is not having a good day. His mom won't let him eat ice cream for breakfast. She won't let him hang upside down from a tree. She won't even let him watch a scary movie! P.J. visits Potts Pig, whose mom lets them do all those things. But when he gets a stomachache and has a bad dream, P.J. Funnybunny realizes that--while it's fun to be a pig--it's better being a bunny!

This new tale of self-discovery is the perfect Easter treat for beginning readers and bunny fans of all ages!

I like it because I think my little great niece would like, and she does. She enjoy reading it ..

Cute adorable characters, good story that flows well. I only wish they made stuffed animals if these characters!

Very cute story. We read this all the time in the preschool I worked at. Loved it so much I bought a copy to read to my grandchildren. Honey Bunny Funnybunny is also really cute!

This was returned as the story and pictures were not as engaging as It's Not Easy Being a Bunny. My 2 yo toddler loves It's Not Easy Being a Bunny and can name all the animals, loves to make the sounds and comment on the pictures. This book didn't elicit much response from my kid, positive or negative. She just seemed bored of it, and was ready to move on to another book halfway through the story. As a parent, I also just didn't connect with the message as much. TLDR summary of storyline: PJ's mom doesn't let him do a lot of things that his pig friend's mom does. He gets to spend the day with his friend and do all these things and suffers some consequences like having a tummy ache from eating too much junk food and having bad dreams from watching a scary movie in the theater. The lesson is you should listen to your mother who is always right. Would I like my kid to listen to me more? Sure, but not at the expense of her being able to think independently and critically if mom is indeed always right or not - so I decided this book just isn't for us.
