Jujutsu Kaisen: Summer of Ashes, Autumn of Dust (Jujutsu Kaisen Novels)
Resurrect the tense conflict between the Jujutsu Sorcerers and the cursed spirits in this collection of original stories.
Sorcery and demon curses abound in this collection of stories spun from the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Cursed spirits have struck the opening blow at Satozakura High School in an unfolding conflict against the jujutsu sorcerers. But while this epic and unyielding battle intensifies, the heroes of Jujutsu Kaisen have other mysteries to solve…such as why Yuji and Megumi see Gojo at a maid café, whether Nanami can uncover the secret behind a website that claims to sell dolls that resurrect the dead, and what happens when a blind old man is able to see the scheming Mahito.

(ARC received from NetGalley) There are pros and cons to this collection. Pros: if you keep up with the manga, then this will have a much more light-hearted tone to the current chapters (looking at you Shibuya and Culling Game). It's nice and nostalgic to get to read about the students before things get REALLY dark. Cons: the translation is below what I would consider average. Light novels have always had a reputation for having bad grammar and poor narrative flow, but there are companies out there that are proving that with a little more work and editing, that doesn't have to be true. I wanted JJK to reflect that, but instead it reads more like a light novel I would have found in the 2012s...say, like the Naruto light novels...not that I'm pointing fingers... Overall, if you like the manga and can forgive a bit of editing slip-ups, you'll probably like this.

I really enjoyed it so far. I haven’t finished reading yet but I love the illustrations in the book and I was surprised it has a double sided poster attached so I think it’s 100% worth it. It came a little dented on the spine since Amazon packaging isn’t always the best.
