Lore Olympus: Volume Three

NATIONAL BESTSELLER • Witness what the gods do after dark in the third volume of a stylish and contemporary reimagining of one of the best-known stories in Greek mythology, featuring a brand-new, exclusive short story from creator Rachel Smythe.

"A refreshingly modern and surprisingly poignant take on the Hades and Persephone myth . . . steamy, often laugh-out-loud funny, and emotional."-Jennifer L. Armentrout, #1 New York Times bestselling author of From Blood and Ash

"It is natural for a King to be curious about his future Queen. . . ."

All of Olympus-and the Underworld-are talking about the God of the Dead and the sprightly daughter of Demeter. But despite the rumors of their romance, Hades and Persephone have plenty to navigate on their own.

Since coming to Olympus, Persephone has struggled to be the perfect maiden goddess. Her attraction to Hades has only complicated the intense burden of the gods' expectations. And after Apollo's assault, Persephone fears she can no longer bury the intense feelings of hurt and love that she's worked so hard to hide.

As Persephone contemplates her future, Hades struggles with his past, falling back into toxic habits in Minthe's easy embrace. With all the mounting pressure and expectations-of their family, friends, and enemies-both Hades and Persephone tell themselves to deny their deepest desires, but the pull between them is too tempting, too magnetic. It's fate.

This edition of Smythe's original Eisner-winning webcomic Lore Olympus brings Greek mythology into the modern age in a sharply perceptive and romantic graphic novel.

This volume collects episodes 50–75 of the #1 WEBTOON comic Lore Olympus.

Love this series, my favorite webtoon. Love the book, packaging and printing ate great. Editing could use some work as some things looka but choppy, and there is at least 1 missing text bubble on the second to last page of episode 63, which is as far as I have gotten...it derailed me. Still, pre-ordered the next book, and will keep reading this one, just irritated at missing text.

I love this story and was so excited to get the hardcover books. I was even more excited to know that I was getting the new book the same day it was released. My only reason for leaving 4 stars instead of 5 was because my book came in damaged. The corners of the book were smashed in, it looks like it took damage during delivery because the padding inside the box was not enough to protect the book. That was disappointing.

love the book just as much as the others but definitely a little disappointed i waited so long for it to come with multiple dents and dings in the edges. this isn't on the author so i still gave 5 stars, but they certainly shouldn't be shipping paperback books in paper mailers.

I read this on Webtoons and always up to date reading it. But I want this whole series physically it’s such a great read. Also the books on Amazon have the best prices you’ll find for the hard cover versions. But look out for the Branes and Noble hardcover ones because they get (exclusive) cover prints for each volume. So be on the look out, because I know some people go crazy for those.
