For fans of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and Life After Life, a poignant genre-bending debut novel about a man and woman who must discover why they continue to meet in different versions of their lives-a thrilling and imaginative exploration of the infinite forms of love and how our choices can change everything.
Thora and Santi have met before.
Two strangers in a foreign city, Thora and Santi meet in a chance encounter. At once, they recognize in each other a kindred spirit-someone who is longing for more in life than the cards they've been dealt. Before their friendship can blossom, though, a tragic accident cuts their story short.
They will meet again.
But this is only one of the many connections they share. Like satellites trapped in orbit around each other, Thora and Santi will find each other again: as husband and wife; teacher and student; caretaker and patient; cynic and believer. In recurring lifetimes they become friends, partners, lovers, and enemies.
Only they can make sure it's not for the last time.
As strange patterns and blurred memories compound, Thora and Santi come to a shocking revelation. They must work together to discover the true reason behind their repeating realities . . . before their many lives come to one, final end.

Editorial Reviews
"Catriona's characters are beautifully explored and deeply complex . . . the payoff of their self-discovery feels genuine and earned." - Gal Gadot
"Inventive, bold and surprising-from where the novel starts I could have never imagined where it ends. Along the way the story of Thora and Santi builds in suspense and emotion, revealing itself page by page, layer by layer. Cleverly constructed and highly entertaining." - Charles Yu
"The perfect read-alike for The Time Traveler's Wife. . . . It asks whether we can ever truly know each other. This also has a mystery element in that you'll be solving the puzzle along with the characters: Why do they keep getting drawn to each other, and what happens next?" - BookRiot
"Thought provoking . . . An inventive novel that kept me turning pages and has stayed with my afterwards." - The Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star
"Pleasingly unconventional . . . both clever and, in the end, heartbreaking. What initially appears to be a magical realist romance novel pivots, through artful authorial legerdemain, to become a satisfyingly rendered and memorable piece of science fiction." - The Financial Times
"Silvey has crafted a steady, satisfying build of a novel, a character-driven set of stories dotted with uncanny glimpses of different worlds, all of which come together and crescendo into revelations that will leave the reader reeling." - Booklist
"Will break your heart in the best possible way. The book spans the many lives of Thora and Santi, two people who are connected across time and space. In every lifetime they meet, and their story is always different. The one thing that endures is the profound impact they have on each other's many lives." - Popsugar, The 25 Best Books of April
"A hymn to friendship . . . A breezy read that's surprisingly philosophical." - Mashable
"You should read this book if you like: Romance, fantasy, sci-fi, reincarnation (kind of), anomalies in the time-space continuum, cosmic love that spans multiple lives and various incarnations." - Goodreads, 6 Great Books Hitting Shelves This Week

Unlike seemingly a lot of reviews here, I really dislike the beginning for - say - about the first 50% of the book. I was determined to give it a negative rating up until the last half. I understood what the author was doing, that it was important for us to see Thora and Santi together in all these lifetimes, but they were just mostly unlikable for a lot of these lifetimes. We were just told how angry Thora was and how calm Santi was and it felt like there was no more depth to them than that, what we were explicitly told. I loved the last half of the book, though. They had to make decisions on their own, actually act human in different situations. They finally got soke depth and a more cohesive plot began to form. And I think it worked out really well.

I don’t like writing a negative review but I didn’t like this book at all. I forced myself to finish it to find out why all these lives were lived by these two people. It started out pretty good and had an interesting concept but the main characters just became annoying. It was the same thing over and over and over again. They had the same conversations. Even the ending was not satisfying. Some reviewers loved it, but I’m not one of them.

Unique and thought provoking. I felt like the characters came to life. Loved the unexpected ending! I definitely would recommend!

This book is hard to categorize because it's unlike anything I've ever read. I think the cover does it a disservice as it gives the impression that you're headed into another twisty romance a la "In Five Years" or "You Were There Too", but this story is way beyond a traditional love story. To me it started out strong, planting you in the premise of the story, but then lagged in the middle when it devolved into a lot of anger and fighting and a meandering battle of philosophies between Thora and Santi that were murky at best. Also some of the descriptions of the fantasy elements of their world left me confused and struggling to make sense of what was going on. The end definitely surprised me, and made me think....a lot. So if you're craving a little mind-bending, this book's for you

Meet Me in Another Life is a deep dive into the world of “what if.” It was thought provoking that gave me all of the feels. I didn’t expect to get emotional while reading a fiction novel, but the story and character description is so eloquently written. I wasn’t expecting the ending at all, but the story had to end somewhere. I highly recommended to all of my fiction lovers.
