A hot girl aspiring to be a cosplayer and a guy who can make the costumes. The chemistry and sexual tension in the story is funny, steamy, and above all enjoyable to read.

I've been following this manga since the first chapter of it was released in Japan. The plot is fun, the characters play really well off each other, the art is both cute and sexy. This translation is fantastic. It captures the nuances of each character and I really just enjoyed reading it again. High recommendation. It's one of my favorite manga.

I stumbled over this book in a B*rns *nd N*bl* a couple of years ago and was blown away by how sweet and spicy it was. A clear view of metropolitan teenage life in Japan that is fast becoming a dream of the recent past. So young ,so pure! I was pleased when I saw that an animated version was coming out in January and was stunned by the high quality of the work. Props to the awsume original work and all the artists and voice actors that made it a reality! With the huge response over the first episode I hope you can take it into several seasons!

I got everything I expected out of this one and more. I expected some technical jargon about cosplay and sewing (got that; I expected some cute interaction between our mc, Gojo, and Kitagawa (got that); I expected some drama between the main character and Kitagawa (didn't get that, and I'm perfectly okay with that). It sucks Gojo was shamed for liking what he does when he was younger, but kids are brutal, and with him meeting Kitagawa, we get to see him come out of his shell and see its okay to like what you like. Kitagawa is such a godsend for him, and I'm certain her friendship will help him grow as a person. There are a few ecchi aspects, expected with this being a cosplay property, but it's not overly ecchi so that was a big plus. I'm looking forward to where this story goes, because reading this volume put a huge smile on my face.

This manga had a lot of complaints in the manga reviewer space, however I thought it was pretty interesting. First, as it says on the cover, it has quite a bit of exposed women parts so it is not for kids in that aspect. However, it is not a sexy time manga at least not in this volume. The plot of this manga is that we have two people who both like fashion. However one knows how to sew doll's clothes and the other likes cosplay from their favorite anime/video games but can't sew. I think its something adults would enjoy reading in the sense of there's a lot of profound otaku references especially cosplay (however, I think Complex Age does this better). There are some moments also that the explicit items were a tad unnecessary. But still its something I would love to continue in the future. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this first volume and I am curious to see how it turns out in the future. 3 out of 5 stars.
