Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem-he just can't seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on!
Narinki's private force is now free from Super S's control. Bushi Drill, Okama Itachi and Iaian plot their escape, but threat level Demon monster Malong Hair appears before they can flee, and a fierce fight breaks out. Elsewhere, their master Atomic Samurai encounters a creepy opponent!

Love it. I love OPM and that’s all I can say. The art is fantastic as always, and the story is great too. Though as a new manga reader I hate how short the “books” are. But that’s got nothing to do with this lol. I just wanted to leave a good review.

This volume is full of action but not much progress. Heroes and monsters continue their epic battle underground, but the story moves slowly.

Up until now we've has dozens of monsters but it wasn't entirely clear which ones would rise up to challenge the S rank heroes. All that changes with volume 23 of One Punch Man. It becomes very clear which ones are a serious threat. I've got to give to One there were definitely some surprises among their ranks. That begin said the artwork was too notch as always. I can only imagine how breath taking the upcoming clashes will be. Than to top it off there was one of the best bonus stories yet, and it was all about Pig God of all characters. I really hope that if there's s season 3 that bonus story will get animated. This volume reaffirmed why I feel in love with the series in the first place. -MickManga
