Es la primera novela que leo de Colleen Hoover y no será la última: la autora escribe muy bien. Narra la historia con buen ritmo, describe a unos personajes reales, con delicadeza y humanidad. La trama nos describe un pedazo de la vida de una chica que aprende a amar, a ser compasiva pero también, a respetarse a sí misma. Lilly es un personaje valiente que se atreve a valorar y gestionar aquello tan negativo que le ha tocado vivir con generosidad y entereza, pero también sabiendo establecer límites a lo que debe tolerar o no. Ha sabido aprender de sus antecedentes familiares y al reconocer esos mismos patrones de comportamiento en su vida más reciente, decide corregirlos a tiempo para construirse un futuro conyugal/familiar mejor... Por eso, el final de la historia es todo un triumfo para ella, es un final feliz del cual todos/as podemos aprender algo. Es una novela romántica (el tema central es el amor), es un drama (no una comedia) con final feliz. Me gustó el contenido (la historia narrada) y la forma (el estilo literario de la autora). Un 10!

Leer a Collen siempre es una aventura. Es una escritora maravillosa que sabe hacer perfectamente que una historia cale. Pero lo de esta novela... Tenía muchísimas ganas de que se tradujera al español para entender por qué es un libro tan imprescindible para muchas lectoras. Gracias Planeta por traducirlo. Tenéis que leerlo. No puedo decir nada más.
