A multiple award winning, critically acclaimed masterpiece and one of the most iconic, bestselling comic book series of its time.

The SAGA series has sold over 6.8 million copies to date across all formats, has been translated into 20 languages, and has garnered multiple Eisner and Harvey Awards, plus a Hugo Award, British Fantasy Award, Goodreads Choice Award, Shuster Award, Inkwell Award, Ringo Award, and more. It has been featured in such mainstream media outlets as TIME, Entertainment Weekly, The Atlantic, NPR, and beyond, and has become a pop culture phenomenon.

Editorial Reviews

"While the book works as a poignant love story and an indictment of prejudice, trippy visuals and clever dialog make this Romeo and Juliet space opera a lot of fun as well." ―Library Journal

"An unwieldy, profane, and glorious ode to compassion and equality... a sprawling tale that shuffles the beats of numerous genres, including pulp romance, road trip, Western, dark comedy, and political thriller. And much of Saga focuses less on prejudice and more on smaller-scale pains that can be devastating in their own right." ―The Atlantic

"There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who are reading Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples amazing adult scifi/fantasy Image comic Saga, and those who haven't yet. The former people are leading happier, fuller lives, because Saga is amaaaaaazzzing." ―io9/Gizmodo

"The humanity that BKV imbues on his characters is rich and relatable, and the danger that surrounds them is fierce and ever present." ï¿9;IGN

-- Read as single issue #55-60 -- After a three and a half year hiatus, Saga, one of my favorite stories in any medium, has returned to us. And it didn't take long to realize that Brian and Fiona are still at the top of their game. Brian, with the entire back half of the story all charted out and ready to rock, and Fiona, her art as stylish, beautiful, and impactful as ever. Much has changed in the world of Saga since the events of issue #54... years have passed. Nothing is the same, but our little space family marches on, and it is clear that while #54 felt a lot like the ending of some things, it was clearly just the beginning of some others. The universe is a big place; and Hazel, Squire, and Alana are far from safe. So we get to jump right back into a compelling, hilarious, and emotional story (seriously, already crying at this comic again by #60...), seeing the likes of The Will, Gwen, Lying Cat, Gale, Klara; getting new insight into places like the Robot Kingdom, and even being introduced to new characters like Bombazine. Old favorites like Ghus, Sophie, and others, I'm sure will return soon. Because, as I mentioned, Saga is back, baby. And we laugh in the face of a six-month break between arcs. Bring it on! We'll be waiting...

My only complaint is that it’s too good and now I have to wait until the next volume because I binge-read this one 😅

Vaughn and Staples make a fantastic return after what felt like the world's longest hiatus. I am so excited to see Hazel and family back in action. I cried and laughed along with her as I read this volume. Now I have to go back and read all the other volumes again!
