I've read all of this author's books and have eaten exclusively plant-based for well over a decade. He offers some excellent ideas for joyful longevity rather than just prolonging life. Life isn't worth living without excellent health and joy. His lifestyle suggestions are similar to Ornish and Team Sherzai, although his dietary recommendations are more lax. The workbook-style and online links will probably make using the program kind of fun. I found a few tips to add to my healthy, happy longevity program. Thanks for an interesting read.

This is the perfect book as I start another year full of hope and health goals I need to achieve. One of my goals is to get started on the path to a longer, healthier, happier life. This is the perfect book for me because if it’s not easy I really cannot sustain. Thankfully, the Blue Zones Challenge has an easy-to-implement guide, that starts with the rules of the Blue Zones Challenge, including tips and tricks from the five Blue Zones--locations around the world where people consistently live to 100! One of those places is here in Southern California - Loma Linda! Additionally, there are week-by-week prompts to * Change your diet * Increase your activity * Update your living spaces * Build your social life.

From 253 pages on nothing important you get only 11 receipts and lots of questionaries/tests that does not nothing. The rest of the info in widely available on internet. I was under assumption that the book will contain more receipts that those 11. hugely disappointed since I had bought it through third party shipping it back will cost a lot and I will lose money for this useless book.
