A gift for my great grandson. We had talked about what he liked to read when I asked him if he was familiar with The Boxcar Children? Excitedly he said one of his teachers a couple of years back had read 1 of the books to the class. He loved it & I offered to buy sets for him. My own son when he was a boy loved reading them too. His collection of THE BOXCAR CHILDREN were given to another family.

I read some of these books as a child and decided to re-visit them for nostalgia. They are positive and very sweet. Though the children do come across trouble they stick together and remain in good spirits. They enrich the lives of the adults they meet.
