Praise for Lisa Jackson's Standalone Suspense Novels:

"Jackson's latest is a fabulous fast-paced, tightly plotted thriller with so many twisty angles, no Vegas bookie would make odds. The character development is superb, and the police investigation and Remmi's need for answers rings true. The authors managing of the past and present separately is an effective method of clue dangling to keep readers in the dark until the huge OMG reveal. Fans of Lisa Gardner, Paula Hawkins, and J.T. Ellison will devour this one-sitting nail-biter."-Library JournalSTARRED REVIEW for Liar, Liar

This was a fantastic murder mystery! It caught my attention from the first page! The twist and turns were at great times an honestly kept me guessing the entire time. Highly recommend this book!

Though the events that took place when she was a child may have shaped the FMC into the woman asks is today, I believe there was just too much to blame on circumstances and situation to account for her almost inability to seem to survive as an adult. She kept stating that her aunt took advantage, the lawyer, her sister, etc. - everyone took some type of advantage of her, resulting in her losing something important in her life. Her family, her inheritance, her naivete. While these things can explain some of this character's childish disposition, it can't explain it all. It was just too much for me. I wanted her to fight back some. To grow up and be the adult that she was now, trying to deal with the situations now. But she was too human and fallible, instead withdrawing into herself and this almost childlike persona. Where it was purposeful or not, it make want to push through just to see if there Spyker be some growth. While this wasn't my favorite book, it did hold my attention and got me thinking

Great story Line that kept my interest. Spellbinding mystery. Identity of killer a mystery until the end. Would have liked a bit more on the missing sister. Highly recommend this book.
