The print is a bit too small. I'm able to read it because of my 20/20 vision, but even so the text should be larger imo. If you want to know which weapon/item fuse combos are best for various purposes, you're out of luck and will have to try google or YouTube instead. There's no recommended fuse weapons in the guide. Also if you want farm items to sell for rupees, there's also no recommendations for the most efficient items to cook to get the most rupees the fastest. It's things like that that could be better imo. No regrets on my purchase though, it's a nice collectible to have and every serious Zelda fan should have one.

I was done doing what I could do with the amount of attention I have left for the game (270 hours in, slow player). I had about 2-3 dozen missing shrines left to find. Almost everything is done now except of final boss and a larger number of side quests. I went through the missing shrines and unlocked the rest of them in 2 nights using this guide. I still have to do the puzzles inside, but want to try those on my own. I will definitely pop this book open again once I need to start tackling side quests though. The book is beautiful, it feels great, reads great, and partners perfectly with the breath of the wild version. Definitely a collectible. Sorry for the bad lighting in the pics; it’s late and I’m so tired. This book gives you all the info you need. Yes, all that info is available for free on the web, but if you want to keep your games forever I highly recommend adding these books to the collection! Enjoy your games!!

I'm really satisfied with this book. It is full to the brim with well written, annotated information for everything in the game from quests, maps, inventory items, enemies, you name it. It's a must have if you want to 100% the game, or if you're like me and have limited time to play. Some other reviews mention poor packaging, sub-par image quality, and a somewhat cheap feel to the book. They are all correct to an extent, but in my case I feel like they're fairly minor. - Mine came shipped in an oversized box with no packing material. The book came in damaged but it is a concern. - Print quality could be better. I feel part of this is due to the visual quality the switch is limited to, but it's really only visible on some close up map images and some of the screenshots, none of which really hinder or take away from the information - It is a relatively cheap feeling hardcover. It's got a papery texture and doesn't feel like it would hold up as well to prolonged usage as some higher end books. That said, we're talking about a book with 500 colour printed pages and a hardcover for what is currently $27 USD. I feel like the information included and its presentation more than makes up for these downsides. It's an immense value and I don't regret my purchase one bit!

I preordered the collector's edition when it was first available, and the guide was received on the day of its release. So glad I did not hesitate with the preorder. I have Piggyback's collector's edition for Breath of the Wild, so I had high expectations for this edition- it did not disappoint. The cover is beautifully textured, strong, and durable. The binding is well-constructed, and the pictures do not disappoint. The pictures are detailed, vivid in saturation, and clear. The book beautifully lays out all towns, stables, shrines, enemy locations, side quests, shrine quests, and of course, a walk-through of the main storyline, if you so choose to use. There is a directory for wells, bubblegems and caves, materials, all weapons, cooking, armor, and enemies. Each section contains a detailed map of the area using a grid system. My only arbitrary comment is that the text is a bit small, but when one considers the vast content of the game it is understandable that a company would decrease the size of the font to accommodate the wealth of information needed for publishing. Still, it is sometimes a strain on the eyes. I had hoped for a section about weapon types using the fuse ability. In other words, what fusion makes for the best weapons. I do not see this guide. What I do like is the weapon trait guide found on page 423. No separate map is included in this edition, and in the publisher's defense, no map was stated in the product's description. Piggyback's collector's edition for Breath of the Wild did include a separate map, but to be honest, it was cumbersome to have the map out to find korak seeds and enemy locations while gaming. Most helpful to me is the use of a phone app in the search for korak seeds. For my experience, I decided to slowly explore each area and have not progressed further than the first temple. So playing forward, this book will be an invaluable tool. As a result, it is my opinion that this book earns a 5 star review. No, it does not have a separate map, nor a section for fusable weapons, but with this said, these are minor in comparison to the other topics of information that is included. Happy gaming!
