Y'all Eat Yet?: Welcome to the Pretty B*tchin' Kitchen
From country music sensation Miranda Lambert, comes a gorgeous cookbook sharing a wide array of tasty favorite recipes, straight outta Texas and collected from all the fabulous women who helped make Miranda who she is today.
If you're going to have a Bitchin Kitchen, you're going to need a few things-plenty of room, plenty of good food for sharing, high spirits (in both senses) and all the friends and family you can fit. For Miranda Lambert, a good time means sharing a great meal with the women who helped raise her back in Texas-her mom and a colorful bunch of best friends who could raise the roof, come through in a pinch, celebrate, cry, and really, really cook. Miranda Lambert invites readers into this special circle of sisterhood with collection of recipes and stories. Y'all Eat Yet? is full of recipes for meals that fill your belly, and your soul, food meant to be shared, meant to be eaten with your fingers off of paper plates, or on your fanciest antique China. Some were handed down to Miranda from her mom and grandma, some come from the circle of cherished friends who helped raise her, and all of them are meant to be easy to prepare and shared with those you love. True to Miranda's personality, Y'all Eat Yet? is sassy and inviting. Whether she's cooking up omelets in her tricked-out Airstream to serve with Mimosas or laying out the Whiskey cupcakes next to Nonny's Banana pudding, Y'all Eat Yet? delivers food you want to make alongside charming stories that show just why Miranda Lambert is one of the most beloved artists in country music today.

Editorial Reviews
"It's clear that the joy of good living and good food are part of every celebration. Lambert's personal photographs, accompanied by anecdotes about her husband Brendan making a good roux or her Wanda June housewares line will, quite simply, enchant." - Booklist

It's great that she did a cookbook but needs more recipes instead of pages and pages of family stories. It's like she couldn't come up with more recipes and had to fill with something.

Preordered Miranda’s book and it arrived the other day. I literally could not put it down without finishing it. I’ve always loved Miranda as a singer & songwriter, but now I want to be one of her BF’s! I absolutely love the storytelling aspect of her book. Being born in Texas and growing up in simpler times, a lot of the recipes are familiar and bring back lots of memories. Now Living on our own farm out in the country I can’t wait to throw some real redneck parties using Miranda’s ideas and these good for the soul recipes. I highly recommend this book to all y’all who love food, friends, family and just downright good ol’ fun!

Miranda Lambert wanted to capture the magic of her Mom, Grandma and each of those women's circle of friends. Using the recipes to ground all the life lessons she picked up as a young girl who grew into a country star, she feeds the heart, the soul and the dreams as well as the belly. And the best part? Whether recipes for camping, glamping or a crowd, everything in this book can be created by regular people who have real jobs. Yes, you get sections on her love of Airstreams, the LOAF, which you cook when you want "the ring," her friends the Junk Gypsies and even her father's how-to-guide to season cast iron. But she shines when she's sharing her love of the people in her life, the support they gave her and how much fun they created with very little.

I have NEVER gotten a cookbook with a paper dust cover! Plain blue book underneath. Just disappointed.
