Pros: Kal Penn has a funny, self-deprecating style and a lot of that really shines through. He shares lots of stories about his early years. his family's life both before and after immigrating to America, and the struggles he faced trying to break into Hollywood and he is not shy about calling out racism. He also devotes a good chunk of the book to his time spent working in the White House, which I found enjoyable. Cons: I would have liked hearing more about his work on shows like Designated Survivor and House M.D., but they barely get a mention. Also, the book ends sort of abruptly. Overall, I did enjoy the book though and I think it's worth a read.

Loved the book and heard from a friend that Kal does a great job with the audiobook. Funny and relatable with engaging storytelling throughout.
I devoured this book in one day. A lovely read, I recommend it to everyone
