A Place to Call Home

A solid foundation makes for everlasting love!

Megan's Mate

Calhoun sister-in-law Megan O'Riley and her young son are moving to the seaside family estate, the Towers, to begin a fresh chapter in their lives. Thanks to her complicated past, Megan has vowed to never let her heart lead her astray again. So when boat captain Nate Fury swoops into her life, Megan's instincts tell her to be careful. But it seems her practicality could be swept away by the rugged seaman.

Best Laid Plans Engineer Abra Wilson had met men like Cody Johnson before-charmers who could smile their way out of any situation. The overconfident East Coast architect may be clever and distracting, but Abra's too smart to fall for his tricks. Fortunately, Cody isn't playing games anymore and has plans that not even Abra will be able to resist!

Thoroughly enjoyed this story of the Mennonite immigration from Prussia to Nebraska. I found myself hoping for good crops and rejoicing over young love. I would highly recommend this book!

The novel is based on facts known by me historically and was an interesting presentation of believable reactions of the characters in the novel. .
