This book is miles better than I anticipated! Matt has included real step-by-step instruction so even a beginner can make these recipes, plus there’s those touches of professional finesse that mean an expert would also appreciate this book. There are 2 tiers to a recipe, the basic skill and then the “leveling up” that helps you create a bakery masterpiece at home. Excellent book for all those who love to create or eat dessert, pastries, cakes, breads and everything in between 7 chapters of bakery magic! 100%thrilled with this book

I’ve been following Matt Adlard in tiktok for some time now, and when he mentioned this book I bought it without hesitation. Why? His explanations are simple, straightforward and clear. Even in videos, it is easy to follow. He puts in a lot of effort on his recipes, so I am sure these were all hand-picked for a reason. Plus, I am looking forward to making the tart he did with his dad - looks amazing! His wording is clear, instructions are easy to follow and understand. I am looking forward to the weekend to get started!

What we learned in that membership resounds in Matt's compilation of bakeable delights with the power to inspire never-before, beginners, and experienced bakers alike. This is a baking book that appeals to every range of interest. Recipes are reliable, written with clarity, techniques and tips so thoughtfully explained, all the things that bring delicious results for any baker, regardless of experience. The book is beautifully bound, photographed with delectable insiratin, and sturdy enough to become a mainstay and heirloom cookbook with memory making promises inside. Not sure if you can bake? You can and will. Just buy the book!

I just received my copy today, this is the release date. I am culinary school educated, and I own a cooking and baking school. I have been following Matt Adlard since The Topless Baker years. He is a great teacher, and knows his stuff. I love that each item can be made Tier 1 the first time, and then there is a way to take those skills to Tier 2 for something more elevated or advanced. The photographs are gorgeous and plentiful. I can’t wait to bake my way through this book! Just order it!! Read about him and watch some videos, he’ll be your new favorite!

First of all, the physical quality of the book was quite impressive. The book is hefty with a pretty embossed touch. The photography is gorgeous and I appreciate that an effort was made to get a picture of every, or nearly every, finished recipe. To accommodate various levels of experience, the book breaks similar recipes into Tier 1 and Tier 2, which I appreciate. The informative/educational chapters are helpful, and I cannot wait to attempt the lemon tart and raspberry pistachio tart. Overall, this is the perfect book for those home bakers with more than minimal experience but aren’t quite ready for the The Great British Baking Show… yet! Kudos to Matt and his team!
