I just received this book today. I ordered a hard bound book which I received..however one thing...didn't realize I was ordering a book that was purchased from a library. I took off the library labels that were left on the book. The ends of the book were beaten up a little....grandson's will still read it...I need to research a little better. Thank you for the order..

This book was released today and I just spent three hours reading it to my seven year old son. We actually re-read the entire series, which we own, in anticipation of this sequel, and finished book 10 last night before starting this one tonight. If you are a fan of Captain Underpants then this book is a sure bet. In fact, I think it may be his best work yet in terms of plot development and amusing moments. My son laughed out loud SO many times and I have to admit I did, too! There was a possible discrepancy between this book and the previous one. In the previous book, the time travel was stated as 30 years in the future (and the adult George and Harold were 39 3/4 and 40yo respectively) but in this book it was stated repeatedly as being forty years in the future. It did not seem to be a plot development issue, just a mistake. I went back and reread it to try to figure it out but I was left a little confused. If I am incorrect, please comment! In any case, the book was amazing, and my son never would have noticed the 30years/40years thing on his own! Thanks Dav for another really funny, well put together book that encourages kids to be kids, as obnoxious and as loud and with all the potty humor that it entails. You outdid yourself on the Uranus jokes in this one, though the potty song in the last one was pretty hilarious to my seven year old, too. I am always amused at seeing him so amused. :) you keep making them and we will keep buying them, as we read them repeatedly. This one is no exception, and in fact I think it is one of your best. Thank you!

My 9 year olds review: it isn't as good as the first few books but it is still fun to read and it connects to The Wicked Weggie Woman which is cool. If you are a fan of Captain Underpants you should read this book.

My grandson loves these books. They not only encourages him to read but he finds them extremely funny. Sometimes he is laughing so hard that he can't get the words out. If it makes him want to read, it has my vote.

I love the quality binding and pages on these books! My kids read them again, and again, and again and....... you get the picture! One thing I like - besides that my kids are reading and laughing - is the message that you can be successful even if you struggle with school, even if you are creativé, and that you can do what you love even if adults tell you that your dreams are unrealistic.
