Claudia and the New Girl (The Baby-sitters Club Graphic Novel #9) (9) (The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix)
A brand-new Baby-sitters Club graphic novel adapted by newcomer Gabriela Epstein!
Claudia has always been the most creative kid in her class... until Ashley Wyeth comes along. Ashley's really different: She wears hippie clothes and has multiple earrings, and she's the most fantastic artist Claudia has ever met.
Ashley says Claudia is a great artist, too, but thinks she's wasting her artistic talent with The Baby-sitters Club. When Claudia starts spending more time with Ashley and missing BSC meetings, it becomes clear that Claudia has to make a decision -- one of them has to go!

Hello there, this book was pretty good. Me and my daughter read it together. The concept is weird, but Another author made the books and you cartooned them. It is very childish, and the books are repetitive. I recommend these books for under 8. My daughter also helped write the review. Honestly it was boring. And there were no very hooks to pull you in. Anyways it pretty okay.

I purchased this book for my 9 year old who is obsessed with this series. She thought it was a great book, but short. She was done in a little under 30 minutes. She really enjoyed the message. She also said the drawings were better in the other books. Overall, good book just should have been longer.

I think that it's a great book, it is a bit short, so I wish it was longer, but it's still a great book. It shows how you can have multible friends, even if they are different. It also shows not to trust everyone you meet, because they might be diffrent then they seem. Even if it worked out well for Claudia, and the "New Girl" (Ashley), and the BSC, and they turned out to be friends, it's a book, that doesn't always happen. So it has a great moral of the story, and it's a nice book, but it's short, and isn't the greatest book, but I recommend it to kids aged 6 - 10, I'm older than that, but that's the age I recommend.

Idk how i like the book. I love the Baby sitters club books and graphic novels but in this book the pictures were not as good as they cold have been . I liked the old Raina telgimier books that was my favorite author of the baby sitters club. I would like of the book was on another topic . The book i wish they would make would be Stacey and the cheerleaders. I am a cheerleader and it is the best sport in my opinion because you get to do flips . Although the book was good. i would like if the author was more descripted about why Jackie brother went to tumbling classes. That makes no sense whatsoever ?

My kids are 7, 9, and 11 and they have been reading these graphic novels since they came out. They love them and they were very pleased with this one too. I think the 11 year old has almost outgrown the series (also he is a boy so that may be contributing to it too). The seven year old has been looking at the pictures since he was young, and he can now read the stories too. Overall I think these are positive books, where the themes are not overly mature for their ages (which I sometimes ran into with other graphic novels, such as Smile and Drama). Overall really pleased.
