Excellent guide for crystal beginners such as my self. Suggest going to a shop ex: beach pier shops, cavern shops (i think they have the best selection), museum shops. Pick what you like best "what calls to you" then read book. Will make more sense if you have some crystals to play with. Has excellent definitions, uses, identification chart. My 1st book. I'm in love with it. :)

I just recently started gathering a nice collection of stones and crystals. I started with the black tourmaline and it has become an obsession from there. As my collection grows you kind of forget what each stone is helpful for and how you can combine them with others. This is a very straightforward go to and its great for a quick reference. I would recommended this to anyone who is starting out and wanting to learn the basics. Of course this opens up Pandora's box and I'm so eager to learn more :) Happy meditating!

I accidentally downloaded this book, but now realize there are no accidents but divine intervention. I read this book cover to cover, then attended a gem & mineral show. Information in this book helped me focus & balance my energy. I had no knowledge of this subject but was immediately intrigued after getting this book. Now crystals, aroma therapy & meditation is a part of my daily life.
