Dark Tarot (A Carpathian Novel)

Light and dark combine as the cards reveal hidden truths in this intoxicating installment in Christine Feehan's #1 New York Times bestselling Carpathian series.

Sandu Berdardi continues to exist only to protect his people. An ancient Carpathian, his entire long life has been dedicated to honor above all else. He knows his time has passed, especially since he has not been able to find his lifemate-the anchor to keep him sane in a world he no longer understands. But just as he truly starts to give up hope, a voice reaches out to him in the night and his world explodes into color.

Adalasia enters Sandu's mind seamlessly, as if she has been a part of him forever. While she can see the shape of things to come in her deck of cards, her gift is both a blessing and a curse. The true course of Sandu's quest remains unclear, with danger waiting at every turn. She cannot see everything the future holds, but she does know it is a journey they will take together.

By joining him, she will start them down a dangerous, seductive path from which there is no coming back....

Editorial Reviews

"Feehan's 31st entry in the "Dark" series (after Dark Song) is simultaneously a jumping-in point for new readers since it sets up a new story line, and a place for long time fans to enjoy a new couple and revisit old favorites. Required for libraries where Feehan is popular."-Library Journal

These books are so well written and though you have to wait for a while it’s easy to get back into the story and remember previous information because of the way they are written, thank you. Roll on the next one.

What has happened to Christine Feehan storytelling. It jumps from one time frame to another with no rhyme or reason. Each time I got too the end of a chapter it took me back to the index and I had to choose the next chapter to get back into the story. I loved her earlier books but she has lost her wonderful storytelling. No real ending. I’m seriously think of not buying any of her books in the future. Getting too expensive to buy and I’m just not enjoying them anymore.

I am I pleased to find that this latest book is a return to the better quality& style of writing we had come to expect from this author and this series Loved the characters and the story me is much improved from the previous few books I loved the characters and look forward to their continuing stories from the hints given by Adalasia Truly hope that this higher quality continues forward as I as well as many other readers feared the author may have lost her mojo as there have been so many recent books in this series which were not up to the usual level My only slight gripe is my usual one that the book ends at 89% to make way for a huge appendix of Carpathian meanings when I'm sure a link to the information would suffice then anyone wishing to learn more could explore at their leisure With the cost of the kindle edition being more than for the paperback I always feel a little cheated sorry Enjoy 😉

Sandu is an ancient who has waited centuries for his life mate. On the very eve of deciding to met the dawn, he hears a woman's voice and his whole world is opened up. Andalusia is charged with a sacred task of keeping evil at bay. She knows Sandy is meant to help her and together they set out on a journey that is fraught with danger.along they way they meet old friends and new that will help them with this quest. Dark Tarot introduces a new plot twist to the Carpathian world. I gave Dark Tarot five stars because it is well written and kept me entertained. The building of the relationship between Sandu and Andalusia was beautifully written. The final chapter lets know this is the beginning of this story arc yet finishes out this couples story with their hea.

Was a huge disappointment. Just replace the names and it's basically the same story told 35 times. Nothing new that was interesting or unique.
