Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 16 (16)
Tanjiro sets out on the path of the Demon Slayer to save his sister and avenge his family!
In Taisho-era Japan, kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.
Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira-a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps-is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima's approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won't give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.

“The story begins moving in a big way” is correct, Koyoharu Gotouge. I just got it an hour ago and am already going to read it a second time. Can’t wait until the next volume!

The one star is not at all related to the actual story in this manga, but the condition the manga arrived in. The front cover arrived damaged with large indentation on it. Almost like industrial staples had been put in and then pulled out. Currently all my mangas are in storage so I can’t post a photo. I will post a picture as soon as possible. I am trying to collect all First Edition copies of the whole series and would prefer them to be in good condition, so this was disappointing.

I'm currently on vol 15 of this series and made myself take a little break after reading 4 volumes in a day! Thats how good it is, I don't like how a few chapters end mid fight though. I originally fell in love with the anime, and started reading the manga when I got impatient waiting for the movie and news of a season 2. I have always been an anime fan but reading this manga really jump started my love for manga. I highly reccomend this one, im sad its ending.
