I like Louie Giglio. I have heard some of his teaching videos and I knew this book would be great. It is. The only negative I can say is that I was familiar with a lot of what the book says; all of the scriptures I know and use to fight the enemy. It was filled with things I had heard before. That’s not to say it isn’t a great book, and it is good to be reminded! He leads the Passion events for college age adults every year so I think this book is aimed at them and/or newer Christians or those who have never been taught about spiritual warfare..

Just finished this book and can’t say I wanted it to end. Powerful tools to combat the enemy’s attack on our minds. The author uses Psalm 23 to paint a picture of dining with the Lord, while the enemy is vying to pull up a chair at your table and interrupt that feast for two. “He sets a table before me, in the presence of my enemies.” The enemy brings fear, anxiety, anger, frustration, depression, chaos, etc. to the table...not a scrumptious dish. Don’t give him an invitation!

After reading this book, almost every page has a highlight or underline. Needed this book. I experienced freedom from allowing the enemy take a seat at my table and try to mute the voice of God with negative thoughts I was having about myself and my situations in life. This book will truly transform your mind and change your heart.

This is a challenging book…to stop letting my mind spin out of control with destructive, ungodly thoughts. Based on Psalm 23 I can refuse to allow the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy be welcome at my table. Louie gives personal testimony of his victories so he is sharing what he has walked through. I CAN win the battle for my mind.
