A light hearted sweeping adventure full of magic, suspense, dashing romance, and a grumpy yet sexy elf. It was a fun story that made me smile. It was easy to get swept up in the story and characters. The characters were entertaining to read and their story steamy and magical.

Similar to Legends & Lattes, Forged by Magic is INCREDIBLE! Except there was smut in this one! I loved everything about this book 💖 The characters were complex and the plot was well developed and I will 100000% re read this anytime I need a good palette cleansing or reset! Very mild angst and darn good spice 🫶 Wolfhart knows the way to my heart 🥲💖

This is my first venture into orcs and ice giants….very interesting creatures. I loved the feeling of the little village Daella literally crashed upon. The characters were all quite unique with their little quirks, and I just really enjoyed this story…..and I’m a sucker for happy endings so there’s that…..and who doesn’t love a grumpy hot blacksmith?

I loved Daella! She had been through so.much. Her parents were killed by Dauhr when she was young and the king took.her in. Then the kingdom is conquered and she be ones a prisoner sent on missions. She can't escape because a shard had been implanted in her that will kill her if she does. On one of her missions she ends up on a island and slowly begins to feel.at home. She's a half orc and initially is feared but could they accept her? What about the shard? Great story

This is a cozy romance with some serious heat level. Anyone looking for a straight up adventure fantasy not expecting explicit romance scenes...well this might not be your cup of tea. Daella the half-orc is forced by evil King Isveig to hunt down the last dragons--she can smell them, you see. She ends up on an island where she smells dragons, but is confused by no evil magic-wielding Draugr (folks bonded to dragons using their magic). She gets even more confused when handsome & grumpy Elven Rivelin invites her to partner with him in an island contest so he can use the island's magic to wish the island safe against aforementioned Isveig. Daella is confused. (and can I say, alot of disbelief had to be suspended in the reading of this book, like why wasn't Daella instantly searching all over the island for dragons? why no interest in this mysterious island magic that grants wishes? Why would a baked/cooked item not win one challenge but Daella's idea win another one? etc.) Rivelin is attracted. Games ensue. This is cozy. Not much actual adventuring occurs. Mostly its just Rivelin and Daella, which was perfectly fine with me as I was totally in the mood for a cozy romance-with-high-steam. But don't go into this looking for anything else.
