I have many of Kerby Rosanes coloring books, but this is by far my favorite! Thick paper and gorgeous drawings, without the distracting "hidden items". I had this on pre-order for 6 months and it definitely didn't disappoint. I'm going to grab a few more for gifts!

I loved this book so much I bought a 2nd copy just for the artwork. The line art is phenomenal, animal s in their natural habitat ! I loved the description and story of each animal at the end of the book as well.

I have mixed feelings about this particular book. I have just about all Nervy Rosanes coloring books and I am a fan! I don't mind having books with pictures from previous books or anything. I take pleasure in coloring them again giving the picture a different way to come to life. This book doesn't have a lot of details that take time to color that I love. I colored the posted picture in one sitting, even my 17 yr old son was shocked that u completed a picture so fast. Usually I have to devote 2 to 3 days of saying, "you have to cook today, I'm invested in finishing my picture." But not this time, I finished in less than 2 hours. Still a FAN of his work, just this book will have to grow on me.

Being that this was a pre-order there truly were no photos of the pages that would be included. I think we all love Kirby Rosanes for the same reason....All the little detail and all the little hidden small figures Usually enclosed within the pages. This has none of them, none, zilch. No little guys with the roundheads, smiling and waving at you looking like ghosts. No birds, no bunnies, no animals within, no little decorations - what a total disappointment. Now as you look at the pictures I’ve added he is an artist and animals are okay BUT... this is not something I would ever buy to color with gel pens. Maybe crayons but the animals are huge. I will be returning this

I didn't know Hooded Grebes exited until I got this book. The grebes are found in Argentina and are critically endangered mainly due to climate change (Fragile World by Ketby Rosanes p84). The pages are faintly numbered in correspondence to the paragraph of information located in the back of the book. A very heart-touching and educational coloring book. Beautiful Beautiful artwork ( makes your heart melt 💓).
