I really enjoyed Halloween Ends the movie despite its many criticisms. The novelization expands on that. It’s a great read and I thoroughly recommend. A few differences from the movie but also welcome differences. New characters and further development of other characters made it even better. Go pick up your copy today.

The book gave more context to the movie and seemed to answer a lot of questions that were otherwise unanswered by the film. It seems we got a more complete understanding of where things were trying to go with the film.
It seems like this product was rushed. I read about 80 pages today and I noticed some typos. One of the first chapters is titled “Untitled.” It doesn’t take away from the story but I feel something on this scale should be edited more thoroughly.

Different ending than the movie…. Seemed like the writer was saying Laurie may make a choice to take up what Michael Myers was doing… seemed to contemplate it when looking at the mask in the drawer at the last scene of the book. Anyone else notice that?

I watched the movie and loved it despite all of the negative reviews. However, the book provided additional context to the movie and filled in the gaps in the movie. Had the movie added more details from the book. The movie would have been better. Nonetheless, I loved it and enjoyed the read.
