This book is gorgeous! I’m a Harry Potter fan and have two different illustrated copies of this book. Mina Lima is easily my favorite version. The book is well made, but does contain delicate designs (interactive) pages within it. I wouldn’t recommend for young children due to the delicacy of some of the pages.. but for older children, absolutely! If you are on the fence about buying it, just do it. The cost is worth it as this will be a collectors item for years to come.

This book is beautiful! The pages are thick, the interactive parts are fun and artfully done, and the printing is beautiful. Gold foil, pop up’s, and the artwork make these an amazing addition to a Potter collection. That said; not for young kids. Careful with storage; the center of the book is fatter than the top and bottom, so it can bend in the packaging. Interactive parts are going to be permanently changed once you use them, for the most part (ie: permanent folds, permanent loosening of parts. Great gift for a person that enjoys nice books and good stories. Take care in handling, but certainly get and enjoy these.
The amount of detail in this book is just as good as the first, looking carefully crafted with love for the universe and work they were doing. Wonderful, I love the illustrations almost more than the first, though the first has some of my favorite interactive pop ups. A huge thanks to the creative at Mina Lima for bringing so many iconic moments in this book to further life in a way that the big screen can’t capture and can only be held in a book! I got it for my nieces, but I will have to get myself one later as a collector’s item. Just a warning, there is some blood and scary bits brought to life as well, but surely nothing a Harry Potter loving kid hasn’t read or seen from the movies. Mina Lima does a good job making things cute and safe — even the spiders!

This is another beautiful Harry Potter edition designed by Minalima. Following in the standard of the Sorcerer/Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets is profusely illustrated, and features several interactive paper elements and unique design touches. It captures a bit of the magic of Harry Potter in a special way and feels like something you could find in the library at Hogwarts. For fans of the series, this is a wonderful addition to your collection. For people on the fence about the series, this could be a way to spark your imagination and find your way into this magical world. Highly recommended, and I eagerly await the other volumes in the series!

Ok so last year when sorcerer’s Stone came it was in a resealable bag. I liked that as it kept the pages from getting crumpled and still looked nice on the book shelf after enjoying the book. Chamber of secrets had plastic wrap on it that there was no way to reseal. I’m going to try it in a ziploc bag but not sure if it will look good on the shelf. I love the illustrations just as much as last year. And can’t wait till the rest of the books come out. I just hope they actually do get to come out. Lol some may have to be 2 books and not just 1. They would be world atlas size otherwise. Edit 10-27 I did get it to fit in a 1gallon bag but it is tite.
