As with every Max Lucado book I've ever read, this one made me stop and think. I live the pictures Max paints through his writing. God has truly given him a gift! This book made me think about the Holy Spirit in a way I never have before. I found myself reaching foe my Bible to dig further. Highly recommended -- whether you're a baby or seasoned Christian!

Whether you have no idea who the “Holy Spirit” is or have run into too many “religious” people who think it is them, this book helps make sense of it all. Lucado has taken the mysterious and sometimes misunderstood member of the Trinity and made it easy to understand, key to turning surviving into thriving. Hope is contagious and is truly needed in these days. I loved this book so much I couldn’t wait to start reading it again when I got to the last page!

Max Lucado does it again. I love how he takes a difficult theological topic, such as the trinity and the Holy Spirit, and brings it down to earth. Hitting home the idea we cannot do this alone, he shows the purpose of The Spirit by giving real life examples of what this looks like. Concepts like The Spirit as a teacher, an intercessor, a calmer, a cleanser, a guide, and a guard show how we are never alone. Life may not be perfect but we always have a major force in our corner. Help is truly here.

This is a book you will want to read & study many times over. Learning more about the Holy Spirit from Max Lucado has given me a deeper understanding, as his gift of writing clearly conveys. I have been a Christian for many years and the Holy Spirit has not been a subject of many sermons or studies that I have attended. To be reminded that we have “Help” 24/7 and understanding that all we have to do is ask, sounds so simple, but is missed by many. The book has reminded me of this & made me more aware of the Spirit living inside of me. You don’t want to miss reading this book and having your copy on hand.

Max Lucado is my favorite Christian writer. His down to earth writing will challenge one’s thinking. As a retired pastor, I was able to learn new insights. After finishing a chapter, my mind kept pondering Max’s thoughts and their application for my life. The last thoughts from the final chapter helped me to say, “Just do it”.
