House Fires

The New York Times bestselling author of A Work in Progress and Note to Self moves fully into adulthood with his illuminating, soulful, bleeding collection of narrative, poetry, and original film photography.

Humanitarian, entrepreneur, and content creator Connor Franta first captivated readers with A Work In Progress, ruminating on his Midwestern roots to his early start as a visionary and online thought-leader. He continued his soul-searching-through-a-broken-heart with Note to Self, challenging readers—and himself—to ponder the spectrum of humanity and their place within it.

Now as Franta approaches thirty, life is no less confusing, but he finds this journey endlessly fascinating. Writing about confusion and clarity, loneliness and whirlwind romances, despair and elation—and everything in between—Franta invites readers back into the intimacy of his mind.

House Fires magnifies a young man’s emotional warfare with his past, the daze of wandering through modern times in search of purpose, and the electricity flying from tomorrow’s potential.

This book is the definition of aesthetics. It's beautiful. You will not be able to put it down once you start reading it. Great read. You should definitely add it to your TBR list (To Be Read) ? The author really points out a perspective of the world.

Such a wonderful book by such a wonderful person! The photos! The poetry! All so magnificent and captivating! Connor delivers greatness time and time again. The culmination of Connor’s 3 years of hard work and determination really reflects in the pages of this book. Also the cover is just gorgeous and really goes along with the title of the book. Would definitely recommend this book! 10/10

I haven't read the book yet so I won't talk about how it is written or the contents or whatever. This is only about the copy I received. Which looks really beautiful. The packaging came damaged though that has nothing to do w Amazon. But what I doubt is the post man's fault is that sadly the foil that is on the book to give it texture crumbles off. The book still is very beautiful but it's a bit annoying to have the texture leave and all those little foil pieces on your hand. Maybe it was a mistake in production? Idk but take care of the book! The foil is sensitive.
