How to Draw 101 Animals (1)

I bought this as a gift for a little boy who likes to draw. I looked at it before I gave it to him and the steps may be hard for a younger child to really follow, but most of them are pretty easy to follow and understand. I would say it's most useful for ages 8+.

What a fun book! My husband, kids and have had the book a few days and already drew all the animals!

When I offered this book to my friends, they told me their kids were too small to draw like this. I retorqued they, parents, could help them and despite their supposedly unability to draw (according to them), this book was a great opportunity to spend time all together drawing and learning having fun: what a luxury! In fact, one might have talent to be able to draw, but he/she still needs to practice hours to be good. I mean that nothing falls from the sky by miracle. This book about how to draw animals and it decomposes step by step the process of drawing. It is so easy and so well done! In our dimension all shapes are circles, squares, triangles...to start with. This book is a precious guide for kids or whoever, whatever the age is. Sure one will not be a Da Vinci tomorrow, as it is simplified drawings, but away from technology one will have learned something having so much fun. The book examples are really cool and there are 100, what a choice! Moreover, kids love when parents dedicate their whole attention to them. They will be grateful, and waoh, you parents will be so happy too! Just grab a sheet and pens and here you go, enjoy!

My 9 year old really enjoys drawing and this really helps her learn to draw! There are 2 animals per page you can draw so there are plenty of animals to draw!

I bought this for Christmas for my six-year-old grandson that loves Drawing. He loves it! Frankly I am tired of seeing kids these days with their nose stuck in a phone, tablet, computer, or gaming device. It seems to have become too easy for parents to hand electronics to a child to keep them entertained and then we wonder why our kids these days are not doing as well in school. I know that I can’t really change the way that my kid or yours raises their children, but if I can buy them gifts to encourage them to read or draw, hopefully it will at least get their nose out of electronics for a little while. Thankfully, my daughter does limit the time that my grandchildren are allowed to play with electronics.
