I bought this book when my son was about 3. He is 9 now and we still read this book together! It’s a great snuggle-up kind of book. The illustrations are so detailed and interesting. I read it as though I’m the Mom in the book and I’m answering my own son, and it causes my son to look up at me and hug me at various times, and kiss my cheek (while I’m doing the same to him while reading it too!). Little sweet moments are shared between the mom and child in the story. I’ve bought this book for my friends when they have a new baby born. I highly recommend! And this book is the best of all the Stinky Face books in my opinion.

I try to buy a book or a few books for my kids on their birthday or Christmas and now a days it is always hard to find that perfect book. I was searching along and found I Love You Stinky Face and I thought this was perfect for A as she just turned six. A and I actually had a huge laugh and loved saying I Love You Stinky Face. This book is greatly illustrated and goes perfect with the story being told. At bedtime a young child and his mother get ready for bed and the mother is asked questions on would you love me if I was hairy or stinky like a skunk among other things. The mother's response is always so sweet. This book is goofy but filled with love. One of A and I's favorite book to read.

I will love you no matter what is the theme of this book. It is fun for the kids and I love the message. I have bought this book now for my own kids as babies, my son is 12 and still likes it (although I wouldn't suggest buying it for a 12 year old!) and my 3 year old nieces and nephews enjoy it.

This is my one year old’s favorite book. I am very picky about what books/messaging I allow for my son, and this book is great. It’s basically a little boy asking his mom different questions like, “mama, would you still love me if I were a super smelly skunk?” And the mom responding with, “if you were a super smelly skunk, I’d plunk you in a bubble bath, but if you still smelled stinky, I wouldn’t mind. I’d whisper in your ear, I love you stinky face.” The messaging is sweet and focuses on parents unconditional love for their children, no matter what.

Sweetest bedtime story ever! Warning: The text in the hardcover version is longer and slightly disturbing. I recommend the board book.,,super cute and flows much better. It’s all about how a mom’s Love is unconditional and goes through all these hypothetical scenarios where the Mom affirms her love for her child whether he/she was a super smelly skunk, a scary monster, an alien that eats bugs or a one eyed monster. So silly and sweet! My little one LOVES this book and I get it for every baby shower gift I give.
