A gift for my little niece. As it turns out the book is just as much for the mother reading it to her baby as it is for the baby. Beautiful illustrations teeming with life and details. I'm happy that it's part of her little library.

Beautiful story and just as beautiful pictures! I’d recommend this book for a new mother and anyone who is interested in showing their children different cultures. I love this book and it’s staying in my keep forever pile. My toddler likes it but maybe not as much as I do. She likes the baby looking at her mama page the most and when the grandma is holding the baby.
