I love this book! It’s my partner and my favorite to read to our 3 month old baby. The illustrations are beautiful and the rhymes are charming. We can’t wait till he understands it and can follow along. I prefer the board book - we (mistakenly) bought a copy of the regular pages one by accident for a friend’s kid’s birthday and the book is HUGE lol but maybe that justifies the price being much higher.

This is an awesome book! I love everything about it. The illustrations and the content are perfect. The first sentence reads, I will love you till the cows come home from a trip to Mars through skies unknown in a rocket ship made of glass and stone. I will love you till the cows come home. It then goes through several other interesting animals yaks, sheep, manatees etc. One negative review said since cows come home, it’s not a good message. It is a great message because cows do not fly to the moon, yaks do not go downtown for a grassy snack in a fire truck or a Cadillac etc. Do your child a favor and buy the book.

This book was among the collection of my youngest grandchild, less than 1 year old. I had not encountered it before, selected it from the book shelf and read it to him and found myself caught up and carried away with cows in rocket ships and yaks and sheep and on and on (and wiping a few misty tears because that's how I roll). So...I bought one for my mother on her 89th birthday. She loves it and it sits out in her main room and all of her visitors get to read it, too. And then I quizzed all of my children and not one had a copy other than that of my youngest grandchild. So I ordered one for each household, regardless of the age of the children. And one for myself. And I will read it out loud to all of them when we go camping, and they will tolerate it, and they will know that I will love them till the cows come home. It is precious.

Got it for my cow loving 2 year old for christmas. I obviously haven't given it to him yet, but I read it and it's the sweetest thing. I'm sure he's going to love it.
