King of Wrath (Kings of Sin, 1)

⭐️- 3.5 🌶 - 3 I absolutely loved this book up until about 70%. It was on track to be a 5 star for me up until that point. The characters are great, the storyline wasn’t bad but what ruined it for me and ultimately made me drop a star off was their break up and reconciliation. When they broke up I never felt like anything was really resolved. Everything felt very fast paced and almost skimmed over, so when they got back together to all felt a bit lacklustre and disappointing. There was just something missing, and I left me feeling unsatisfied at the end. Dante was amazing, Vivian was fine. I expected a little more from her but she wasn’t a bad character at all just maybe not to my taste. Overall it was a really good read up until the ending and I do like the authors writing style so I know that’s not something I’ll ever be disappointed in. It’s a good easy read if that’s what you’re after.

Great book - definitely one to by if you enjoyed the Twisted series!! ❤️💍King of Wrath 💄🐉 I really enjoyed this book in isolation but I definitely think I enjoyed it more because I’d loved the twisted series before. It was so fun getting to hear and experience little snippets of Christian and Stella, and to understand what was going on in the background when we had previously encountered Vivian and Dante. Vivian is a different character to the twisted girls before her and I love that. She’s got different reasons behind her behaviour and feelings. Dante is what we have come to expect of the twisted men we know and love, rich, possessive, angry and vengeful. What’s not to love. I’m obsessed with the way their story starts as it is different and intriguing, it was fun reading knowing that we had the whole picture but some of the characters didn’t 👀 it felt like we were in on a secret… and it helped to understand Dante’s unusual behaviour. The plot twists and turns are what’s great about Huang’s books, yet again this is full of them. I like that this book is so family oriented and discusses different cultural expectations, it’s something that is handled well and really makes the plot. And of course, just like the Twisted series, the book has got some fun spicy scenes 🌶 to go along with a clever story.

I’m completely obsessed with billionaire romances and this one was amazing! Ana Huang knows how to write them! The story follows Dante and Vivian. Dante Russo is from old money, he’s CEO of his family’s very successful Fortune 500 company. He’s also an absolute grump who dislikes everyone. So when someone blackmails him into Marrying their daughter, he’s fuming and will do everything in his power to get revenge. Enter Vivian Lau, she is said daughter. She has found a life in New York that she loves, without the judgemental eye of her parents. However when her father tells her she’s being entered into an arranged marriage, she doesn’t put up a fight, she will fulfill her duty as their daughter. But when she finally meets Dante and he’s nothing but rude and mean to her, she wonders what she’s let herself in for. Vivian is everything! I so enjoyed her character development throughout the book. How she went from being a bit of a pushover to standing her ground and not letting people walk all over her. I absolutely adored her. Dante, man oh man. I’m obsessed with this man. I was so frustrated with him throughout the book, however when it came down to it and he realised his full feelings for Vivian, he did everything he could to make things right! And that grovelling was done so perfectly! I’m in love. This entire relationship had me on the edge of my seat! I’m completely obsessed with these two characters being together! The spice in this book was so good and so hot! I’m super excited to see where this series goes!

I was late for a very important date..a midnight click when King of Wrath dropped..24 hours later I was searching shelves to buy a copy . Reading Ana Huang books ..I feel seen. I know she reads reviews because I found every 👏single 👏 thing I've raved about in this book. Any one who follows me knows my love of Chinese /Korean Drama . My fave Chinese drama of all time was Meteor Garden , the best love declaration of all time was done while watching a meteor shower ..and he said he would give up all the stars in the sky ✨ for her.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.Best Proposal of 2022 goes to Dante Russo under the stars in Chile..with a red diamond one of 30 mined in the world. I mean ..look at cover. The most exquisite cover of the year. "Per te aspetterei per sempre amore mio" I would wait forever for you my love... sometimes the best declaration is one of the fewest words said with stars in their eyes. Sometimes it is the devotion that speaks for itself. Yall..I am still freaking teary eyed 4 hours later. When I think ..omg Ana can't outdo the swoon of Alex, Rhys , Josh, and Christian When she can't out do the glamour of Bridget , Stella, Ava and Jules.. She outdid herself again. Cue Luxurious by Gwen Stefani. In less than 400 pgs she brought us from Manhattan to Thanksgiving in Bali to Paris to Chile to a wedding at Lake Como in Italy . Oh a side trip to Eldora where consequently Vivian's sister lives...and knows Queen Bridget and Rhys. Holy hell yall..this is a book you read the pages then immediately go back and say omg ..let me read this again.. baby you need to go see your parents in Europe , let's take my jet it's faster. You know what love is? A man who is across the globe ..hears you were hurt stops his meeting and runs to his plane..that is love. "Tell me what you want Vivian. Do you want me on my knees?" Yes...holy hell. And dumplings from every top rated restaurant in the five boroughs. " In all my years as CEO I have only left a meeting early twice..both times were for you Vivian " Dante Russo is the grumpy to Vivian Lau's Sunshine. It may have been a blackmailed marriage contract..but he fell first by seeing her enter a room in a dress so exquisite, by seeing her smile light up her face, by smelling her perfume when he entered his penthouse and realizing she was why it felt like home. Best Dressed 👗 2022 Vivian Lau..Phoenix gown "eight hundred hours of hand sewn bursts of gold thread embroidered over the surface of the gown." Just the image that is created with her and Dante dancing at the Legacy Ball made me teary..it was that kind of exquisite dance ..Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio in Titanic Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrew's in Sound of Music..legendary time stood still. The best part of Ana's books is also the friendsh...
