A virgin "ice queen" heiress & the arrogant god who wants to melt her...

Rose Calloway thought she had everything under control. At twenty-three, she's a Princeton graduate, an Academic Bowl champion, a fashion designer and the daughter of a Fortune 500 mogul. But not everything comes easy.

When Rose's fashion line is in peril, she plans an unconventional solution to save it. Making matters more intense, she agrees to be in a relationship with her "godly" college rival, Connor Cobalt.

At twenty-four, Connor Cobalt bulldozes weak men. Confident and smart-as-hell, Connor vows to help Rose outside of the bedroom and inside. But melting this ice queen is a challenge no one has been able to succeed at.

And now they're living together.

Much like a Reality Show Kiss the Sky has a hurricane plotline filled with drama and comedy. However, underneath the light (and somewhat crazy) tone there's raw emotion and important debates on sexuality, addiction, exposure, ego and acceptance. And of course, I think it's utterly impossible to read this story and not fall heads of heels for (Richard) Conor Cobalt. He's pretty much the ultimate perfect book boyfriend, and I'm certain he will continue to enchant readers everywhere for many years to come.

Holy crap, this book is so freaking amazing. I will try to contain myself in my review but I have to warn you now, I am seriously on a book high but I'm also feeling the inevitable book hangover now that I've finished reading Kiss the Sky. Throughout this book, I kept posting how much I am in love and lust with Connor and by the end I just wanted to have his babies!!!! ***“I’ve wanted so many things in life,” he says softly, “but you’re the one that has meant the most to me.” Translation: I love you.*** I have been swept away by the Addicted series and Lo and Lily's journey through their recovery from their respective addictions but I have secretly been waiting to get my hands on Rose and Connor's story the most. These books are so cleverly written and have the right balance of humour, hot sex, trauma and everyday life. I know some people get a bit obsessed with books which include a twenty something year old virgin in them but this story is so perfectly written that it works well. This story is based around the three Calloway sisters, as well as Connor, Lo and Ryke, as they film a six month long reality show in the hope to address the ongoing fallout following the unfortunate way Lily and Lo’s addictions were exposed. As the family’s companies suffer as a result of the sex and alcohol scandal, Rose is determined to try to try to turn around the lives of all those involved. Turning to ex-boyfriend Scott, Rose unwittingly enters the viper’s nest by signing a contract with him to produce their reality show. Scott becomes the catalyst to everything which goes wrong in their lives from this point forward and Rose and Connor in particular find themselves the target of his animosity. As expected, the banter between Connor and Rose continues in this story but slowly Rose’s thorns retract and Connor captures her heart so thoroughly that the sparks literally fly off the pages and by the end of their European adventure, I was a complete and utter mess and declaring my undying love for Connor! In this book you get to see a completely different side of Connor which literally caused me to fall apart! ***He stares at me deeply, whispering, “Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” One of my favorite quotes. I turn a fraction, just enough so that our lips don’t suddenly collide. “Shakespeare,” I breathe.*** Connor aside, I also love Lo’s and Ryke’s personalities and I can’t wait for more of Ryke and Daisy’s inevitable story. Krista and Becca Ritchie really need to be praised for a superbly written set of stories which have totally consumed me. Reviewed on behalf of Jezabell Girl & Friends…

Do you think you should be able to read a spin off series without reading the original? The Calloway Sisters is the spin-off series from Krista & Becca Ritchie's Addicted series. Originally I thought Calloway Sisters came first however I was kindly told I was wrong. That being said I still think you should be able to read a spin-off series without having read the original series but I'm guessing I would have gotten on a lot better with this book had I started this in the right place. I always felt like I was on the back foot. I didn't feel like I really understood these characters as much as I should because I was missing out on the beginning of their relationship. They had an unconventional relationship with Connor convinced he wasn't and wouldn't fall in love and Rose being ok with that. I felt they had really great arcs but I just felt like I was always missing out on really understanding their relationship and their connection. I don't know if I would have felt different had I started with the right series but I never really fancied the Addicted series so I guess my journey with this series is over.

**Complimentary copy kindly gifted by the authors** ♥♥♥♥♥ 6+ Je t'aime Stars ♥♥♥♥♥ Kiss The Sky by Krista & Becca Ritchie is a spin-off of the Addicted Series and can be read as a standalone but I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first. Trust me, you would not be disappointed in reading the Addicted Series since I'm beyond addicted and love this series so hard. This is one series and spin-off where I truly love love all the characters!!! <3 <3 To say I was beyond excited when I found out the Ritchie sisters were doing a spin-off focusing on Connor and Rose is an understatement, I was f#%*&ing jumping up and down for joy and maybe there was a little happy dance thrown into the mix. HAHA!! So when I saw an ARC of Kiss the Sky appeared in my email inbox from the Ritchie sisters, I knew for sure without a doubt that this book was going to be devoured in one sitting. Being avid fans of the Ritchie sisters, I knew this book would be nothing but the best and I can 100% say that they did not disappoint me. I love love this book so hard!!! As I mentioned earlier, I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first since it would give you a better insight on all the characters of the Addicted Series. (Lily, Loren, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke) Kiss the Sky picks off where it last left off on Addicted For Now, with the backlash of the news of Lo and Lily's addiction. The image of Lily Calloway has been tarnished by the media since they are now aware of her sex addictions hence bringing down the stocks of Fizzle Corporation and Calloway Couture. So what does big sis, Rose do..she takes charge and tries to revamp the image of her family when a TV production company proposes a REALITY TV show that will focus on our beloved characters of Lily, Lo, Rose Connor, Daisy and Ryke.. If you are a pop culture junkie like myself, then you should be aware of an MTV show called The REAL WORLD. If not, then I would suggest you go YouTube a Real World episode to get an idea of what the show is about. (As someone who used to watch the show, the older seasons were prolly the best since the new ones are just blah blah) Anyways, let me refresh your memory on the opening lines of THE REAL WORLD: "This is the true story... of seven strangers... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting real...The Real World" Sounds familiar, right??!! Well instead of six strangers living together in one house, how about the gang of the Addicted series living together in one household for six months and have their lives taped. Yes, you got it right!! Lily, the sex addict;Loren, the alcoholic; Rose, the virgin; Connor, the smarta$*; Daisy, the daredevil; and Ryke, the jacka*$. Didn't I say it's like the Real Wor...

You know the stories where the strong, brawny man struts into a room with his head high, his chest puffed and his stocky shoulders pulled back-he's the king of the jungle, the big man on campus, the one who quivers girls' knees. He carries an air of unwarranted superiority for the pure fact that he has a dick, and he knows it. He expects the girl to go tongue-tied and agree to his every demand.

Well, I am living that story right now.

The man settles into a seat at the head of the conference table (instead of the chair nearest me) and just stares in my direction.

Maybe he thinks I'm going to be that stupefied girl. That I will cower beneath his deep gray eyes and his combed dishwater-blond hair. He's twenty-eight, stained with Hollywood elitism and self-righteousness. When I first talked to him, he name-dropped actors and producers and directors, waiting for me to go slack-jawed and dopey. "I know so-and-so. I did a project with what's-his-face."

My boyfriend had to grab the phone out of my hand before I cursed at the Hollywood exec for irritating the shit out of me.

He finally speaks. "Do you have the contracts?" His chair screeches as he leans back.

I pull out the stack of papers from my handbag.

"Bring them here." He motions to me with two fingers.

"You could have sat beside me," I retort, standing on two chunky heels with brass buttons, military-inspired and part of the new Calloway Couture collection.

"But I didn't," he says easily. "Come here."

My heels clink across the hardwood, and I make the perilous catwalk up to Scott Van Wright.

He props one ankle on his thigh, his finger to his cheek as he unabashedly peruses my body. From my slender legs to the hem of my black pleated dress with sheer quarter-sleeves and to the high collar that frames my stiff neck. He traces my dark-glossed lips, my rose-blushed cheeks, and bypasses right over my pissed-off eyes, spending an extra moment fixated on my chest.

I stop by his legs and throw the contracts on the table in front of him. They slide off the polished surface and land on his lap. One stapled stack even slips to the floor. I smile wide since he has to bend down awkwardly to reach them.

"Pick that up," he tells me.

My smile fades. "It's underneath the desk."

He cocks his head, giving me another long once-over. "And you dropped it."

He cannot be serious. I cross my arms, not responding to his request. He just sits there, waiting for me to comply.

This is a test.

I'm used to them. Sometimes I even dole them out myself, but this one is going to lead me nowhere good.

If I bend down, he'll establish this strange power over me. He'll be able to command me in the same way that Connor Cobalt can force people to do his bidding with simple words.

It's a manipulator's gift.

I'm not even close to possessing it. I think I wear my emotions too much to have that type of influence over other people.

"Grab it," he says, his gaze halting on my breasts again.

I remind myself why I need Scott and why I want the swarm of cameras to document my every move. I inhale. Okay. You have to do it, Rose. Whatever it takes. I cringe and drop to my knees. In a dress. This is a job for a personal assistant, not a client.

I hear him click his pen as I scoop up the papers. I'm not wearing a low-cut top where I'll flash him. I don't have huge breasts to really ogle either. The most he can do is slap my ass and try to peek up my dress, the hem perilously rising on my thighs.

When I stand back up and smack the papers to the table, his lips curve upward.

Scott Van Wright (asshole) 1-Rose Calloway (pathetic) 0.

I sit in the nearest chair while Scott stuffs the contracts in his briefcase.

My boyfriend urged me to bring his lawyer to the meeting, but I didn't want Scott to think that I couldn't handle the situation myself. I won't have a lawyer while the cameras follow me, and I'd rather take command now.

Not that I'm doing a terrific job.

If I ordered Scott to do anything, he'd laugh at me. But I attended a few law courses before I graduated from Princeton. I know my rights.

"Just so we have this clear, you work for me," I remind him. "I hired you to produce the show."

"That's cute. But after you signed that contract, you've officially become my employee. You're the equivalent of an actress, Rose."

No. "I can fire you. You can't fire me. That doesn't make me your employee, Scott. That makes me your boss."

I expect him to withdraw from this losing battle, but he shakes his head like I'm wrong. I know I'm right . . . Right? "My production company has sole ownership over anyt...
