Kristy and the Snobs: A Graphic Novel (Baby-sitters Club #10) (The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix)
A brand-new Baby-sitters Club graphic novel adapted by Eisner-nominated artist Chan Chau!Kristy's mom got remarried and their family moved to the ritzy neighborhood across town. The other members of The Baby-sitters Club think it's a good opportunity to get some new business, but the kids who live nearby aren't very friendly. They criticize Kristy's clothes and make fun of the BSC. And, worst of all, they laugh at Louie, Kristy's pet collie, who's getting old and not feeling well. These kids are total snobs! But if anyone can put them in their place, it's The Baby-sitters Club!

I love the BSC series! In every single book there is always problem. And the girls always find a way to problem solve. This book will make you laugh till you cry, Tear your eyes up, and always look forward to what's coming next. The only negative thing is in some of the parts it is a bit hard to understand what was going on in the pictures. Are you ready for the next book of BSC? I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I do.

I honestly have never read any of these but my incredibly tough reviewer daughter can’t put these down. She said this new story is her second favorite one in the series (which is high praise).

My child and I agree that the artwork is a masterpiece. Chan Chau does amazing work, the best yet of the series, and following Raina Telgemeier and Gale Galligan who have also produced genius graphic novels, this is saying something. The only sad part here is that the storyline itself is pretty stupid and unrealistic. Ann M. Martin abandoned nuanced character development and plot for this one and really missed the mark. But that was decades ago, and Chau was only working with what they got. It is what it is. This still is a must-get for the series just to see the depictions and continue on the ride. I look forward to seeing much, much more from Chan Chau.

i liked but but the sad thing was the Louie died cried every time when i read chaper 12 ( when Louie had to be put down) includes spoilers in chaper 12 i cried every time when kristys mom said to david Michael "Louie will get a shot and then Louie will sleep but will not wake up" and when david Michael before kristys mom went to put louie down he said " you were the best dog ever" it kinda make me happy that they have a new pup but me wanting louie still. I liked it but if you cry every time when an animal die ( like me ) i would not get this book bc louie died but your choice :( :( :( :( :( <3 :( :( :( :( <3
