My 2 yr old great grandson just loves “Blue” (as he calls him). When I ask him if he would like me to read “blue” to him, he runs to where I have his books. All his other books go flying every which way and he’ll bring me all three “blue” books that I have for him. And of course, he has to have Blue with him (I also bought the truck). He likes his other books but he loves Little Blue Truck.

The book isn’t like the first two in the series (Little Blue Truck and Little Blue Truck in the City) It’s poetry is not rhythmic like the first two books and it’s all about repeating “yoo-hoo!” which definitely does get old🙄 the illustrations are cute tho🤷🏽♀️ Also the book is a lot bigger than other books in the collection.

While, like others, I am very disappointed in the story (really isnt one) great time was spent on the pictures. I love the book itself, but we will be making up our own story. Worth buying only if you want to complete your series, but not if your looking for a book to read your child.

I didn’t enjoy reading this book as much as the others. My two year old immediately wanted to read it a second time and loved the flaps. It gives the child a chance to make animal noises, has opportunities to count and helps them learn about baby animals. Well made and sturdy.
