Author Shannon Redmon, has mastered the Suspense genre. This book by far has exceeded all action packed, mystery and suspense all in one. They way she pens stories but doesn't stay away from God's message without overloading it makes her writing a remarkable one to enjoy and love. In this story Aggie and Branson are put at a test and task of finding not only her twin sister but the truth of their relationship despite the detours and missions they are faced with. Aggie being a former army Black Hawk pilot and Branson a Detective, Author Shannon details each scene and action so perfectly that you can't stop reading until you finish. From page one to the last she will have you in a rollercoaster of action. And the way she works her characters, you'll be surprised with the ending. If you are into suspense, action, mystery, romance and Inspirational message this is the author that you need to check out. I received an ARC complimentary from the author. All stated here are my honest own comments.

Mistaken Mountain Abduction is another winner by talented storyteller Shannon Redmon! The story centers around former Army Black Hawk helicopter pilot Aggie Newton and Detective Bronson Young who share a past and come together to track down a kidnapper and find out who is targeting Aggie and why. The exciting, fast-paced plot kept me turning pages to see what happened next. Impressive, detailed descriptions bring the story to life. I felt like I was experiencing the harrowing, stormy helicopter ride right alongside Aggie, Bronson, and Ray! Realistic, compelling characters advance the story. The sweet second chance romance unfolds slowly taking a back seat to the action. I could feel the attraction throughout the story which kept me rooting for Aggie and Bronson to reconcile their relationship. I appreciate the faith thread that is woven into the story with themes of God’s protection and care. I enjoyed this book, and I think fans of inspirational suspense will too! I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher with no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This one clearly deserves five stars. Wow! I love a good suspense filled mystery with high octane action, and this book was definitely action filled. Aggie Newton is a former army helicopter pilot who has retired from the military to come home and help on her mom’s farm. When Aggie’s twin sister, Leslie, is kidnapped in broad daylight, Aggie is determined to bring her home. Enter Detective Bronson Young as he is called to the scene of the kidnapping. Aggie and Bronson have a troubled romantic past. They have to put the past behind them in order to find Leslie. As the mystery deepens, Aggie realizes she is probably the target and the kidnapper grabbed her sister by mistake. I loved the fact that Aggie was a talented helicopter pilot. She was very strong willed and definitely not easily intimidated. I enjoy reading books with strong female characters. This book was filled with intrigue, explosive action and mysterious characters. Second chance romance with an inspirational message intertwined in the story made this book a pleasure to read. The hints and clues dropped throughout the story built the mystery well with plenty of suspects, and just the right amount of deception to make you think you had it solved. Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Aggie Newton is a former star helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army. After her ex-boyfriend’s brother was killed during a mission she was a part of a year prior, she hasn’t been the same, and decided military retirement and coming home was best. Home to her mom, twin sister, Leslie, and Leslie’s young daughter, Holly…a new start helping the family at their apple orchard and farm. Detective Bronson Young is Aggie’s ex, a man haunted by the death of his brother…a death chock full of unanswered questions. He’s also haunted by the breakup with the woman he still loves, but he can’t trust a woman who is keeping secrets, even if those secrets are bound by military protocol. The day Aggie arrives home, she, Leslie and Holly head right to their favorite town eatery. But suddenly Leslie is abducted right from the parking lot. But why? Aggie wastes no time calling 911, with her next call to Bronson. Can they work together to figure out why Leslie was taken and find her? Can the Lord remove the obstacles in each of their hearts and bring them back together? I loved this awesome suspense from Shannon Redmon, and you will, too! I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

This was one read that definitely kept me guessing! The story was exciting and fun, and I really liked the mystery elements in the book. Aggie and Bronson's second chance romance fit the story well and didn't move too fast, I actually liked the push backs they gave each other while the story was developing, and they were hunting her sister. Great read! I received a copy of this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
