A heartwarming winner! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tina Radcliffe is a favorite author, and her newest book, The Baby Inheritance, is another heartwarming winner full of sweet romance, a sweet baby and sweet treats! Self-sufficient college professor, Dr. Sadie Ross, grew up in foster care and has no family, only focusing on her career. Cowboy Drew Morgan, received an architectural degree, but manages his family’s ranch along with a passel full of brothers and Gramps. When these two opposite personalities must decide on the guardianship of a baby with medical issues, many emotions are involved. Who is the best choice to raise this sweet baby girl? The struggles of adjusting to their new roles as baby caretakers, on top of wanting to make the best decision for baby Mae, are heart-touching as both Sadie and Drew want to honor their friends’ legacy. The choices are very different, with pros and cons to be considered. Selflessly they work through the process as the attraction between them grows. The Baby Inheritance is the first book in a new series featuring the brothers of the Lazy M Ranch. Author Tina Radcliffe knows how to write strong family stories with engaging true-to-life characters as she adds fun humor, touches of faith and perfect romance…plus a sprinkling of yummy treats featured on the pages. (Yes, I’m a foodie who loves the mention of virtual goodies!) If you love heartfelt stories of overcoming challenges with faith and hope, this is a not-to-be-missed set of books! I’m already anticipating the upcoming romances of these cowboy brothers and the women who will come to love them. Favorite quotes: “The satisfaction of parenting comes at unexpected and cherished moments. While there are many blessings, there are also many challenges.” “You have to choose to have a happy ending.” *I received a copy of this book with no requirement to write a review. I’m delighted to offer my honest opinion.

“The Baby Inheritance” by Tina Radcliffe is the first book in the Lazy M Ranch series. Drew Morgan and Sadie Ross are guardians for their friends’ baby, but they have to decide which one of them will become permanent. Drew is a sweet and thoughtful hero and faces adversity with calm rationale while Sadie, confident in some aspects of her life, is unsure and fearful with this change in her controlled life. They both think the other is the better choice to care for the baby and have to face their fears of their pasts to be able to decide their future. “The Baby Inheritance” has family wisdom, doses of humor and a lot of heart.

THE BABY INHERITANCE by Tina Radcliffe is the fabulously written, heart tugging story of Drew Morgan and Sadie Ross – complete opposites thrown together when named guardians of sweet, innocent six-month-old Mae Anne Franklin. Drew is the manager of Lazy M Ranch – the ranch his father bought years before. Although he graduated college with thoughts of becoming an architecture, the sudden death of his parents had Drew returning home to Homestead Pass, Oklahoma to follow in his father’s footsteps along side his three brothers and his grandfather, Gus, to keep the ranch running to fulfill his father’s dream. Although at the time he didn’t see it that way, now it’s an occupation in which he couldn’t see himself doing anything else. Manage a large ranch, see to the cattle and see over a big crew - he can do that and does it very well. However, romance or having a meaningful relationship seemed to have avoided him. After a few horrible mishaps in that direction, he’s content to be a bachelor and leaves the chasing after women or the idea of romance to his brothers. The one great downside to his life was the death of his one great friend - Jase, who died all to young and leaving a great whole in his life. Sadie has an apartment in Tulsa and a job doing what she loves – being a college professor teaching literature. She’s just about to get her tenure and she’s even been submitted for a very prestigious award. Her whole life consists of going to work, grabbing a bite to eat and working evenings preparing for the next day. She believes if you read up on a subject teaching yourself that there’s nothing you can’t accomplish. It was the school of hard knocks that taught her that. Sadie’s bringing up years weren’t easy at all, but Delia had always been her safe spot to fall – the one that always had her back. She had always the one constant in her life. They had grown up in the foster care system and eventually at a group home. Now her best friend is dead leaving an unsurmountable void in her life. When Drew and Sadie were called to the lawyer’s office, each had no idea why they were there and greatly surprised to see the other there as well. After Jase and Delia’s sudden death, their infant child, Mae, was cared for by her grandmother, Helen Franklin, but severe health issues leave her no choice but relinquish that care to another. As godparents, Drew and Sadie where the logical choice. However, since they aren’t married, they have to choose which one will be considered for permanent primary guardian in order to complete the application process. Two single people with jobs that definitely aren’t really designed with children in mind – meaning their work demands a lot of their time at any time of the day or night either by choice or demand. They seem to be opposites in everything. Drew is more of a hands-on person learni...
