This is exactly the reading level we needed. A lot of these learn-to-read books have the names of superheroes and places and things that are not helpful. Pete the cat is always great. It has my son reading along.

The typeface/font on this one is smaller than previous Pet the Cat books, that intimidated my grandson at first, but he's got it now.
