I preordered this book months ago and was very excited but it is different than I expected. It reads like a love letter to her daughter which is nice but it’s her specific story so a bit awkward to read to your child. I thought it was going to be more general about all strong mamas. The illustrations are beautiful and it is a cute story but I was a little disappointed.
