This suspense story will keep you on the edge of your seat every page-turning moment! Madison Burke, a Boston journalist, is making an emergency return trip to her home in Oklahoma because her dad had a heart attack. But Madison's life is being threatened. There was a mugging just before she left Boston that the police thought might be random. She became a target of an assassination attempt at the Oklahoma airport, and things just keep happening! Briggs Thorpe, a retired Navy SEAL happened to be there with her father at the airport, spotted the red laser light on the back of her head, and took her down just in time to save her life. He then ushered them out of there, and quickly became the guardian of Madison. He's determined to get to the bottom of the attempts on her life, teaming up with police and his brothers. Believe me, I have not just done a spoiler! There is much more excitement to unfold. This is a MUST READ book!
